I hit 70 and over the following few days came across some stuff you don't really see mentioned anywhere - I will address my and hopefully other newly 70 people's question about this set:

Is this worth upgrading to once you hit 70, or would it be better to simply run a lot of high end normal difficulty instances until you've got gear good enough to do arena and have a reasonable shot at success? I'm stuck with plate armor from quests done at level 65 and higher, and when I mention this set every 70 in the game recoils. What else is there to upgrade to? I'm not going to be able to jump straight into Arena season 2 gear, that's ridiculous.

I would prefer https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/spell=39961 in the helm, due to if you have this odds are your MS, and +3% MS crit as MS is alot if you have the gear

id have to agree this set needs to be buffed up more like even though its a superior set for warriors it needs to have more strength and more stamina, ita hell hard to get an arena team post any easy ways to do it and any class's that would go well with a mortal strike warrior with lionheart blade

arena pvp set is of course way much harder to get, and sometimes I dont get along with my arena teammates, because I think they suck and they think I suck, and that makes me mad all the time. I rather camp in AV and get this whole set.lol .

i only get to play for like 3 hours a day so this set will take me about 2 weeks to get i wish Horde won more in 69 BG's so i could get marks and honor faster >.< oh well im sure it will be worth it ^^
