The differences between this set and the gladiator stuff are as following:
-245 armor
-35 agi
-32 stam
-6 ap
+1 crit rating
-5 resilience rating
It really isn't that bad since it's much easier to get this one and I don't see this miserable difference affecting the gameplay if the player knows how to play with their rogue. Besides this set looks much cooler^^
The only problem is that both sets are useless outside pvp but this is of no importance since if you get one of them it's obvious that you'll be pvping =)
I myself am planning to get it...

(All the gems/special abilities are the same)

I am also planning on getting this... should take like a month and w/ this I'll kick even more butt in Arena so I can get my weps ;)

Thank you for figuring out just how much honor is "actually needed" because ~68k is easier to grind out than ~100K+...

idk for sure but i'm guessing by the reduced prices its still available but is basically obsolete because the price difference is pretty small between this and s1 gladiator (the only case i would se buying pieces of a 70 grandmarshal set is if you like how it looks or want your 2nd or 4th piece (you can get 35 res bonus from this and the gladiator sets.

ok if your only level 1 please dont make a post. Its obvious that this set gives more stam than agility is because in pvp a rogue should have alot of health to stay alive. Alot of agility=high dodge=overpower=death. So, more stamina is useful for pvp. In fact, this set is pretty good considering how easy it is to get honor.

better greens? crap? are we playing the same game or looking at the same item set? this is a pvp set so its good for pvp. thats why it has such high stam. not only that, but it does in fact give crit rating and resilience which are pretty good. I don't know what greens you look at but there's no way they can be better than this. Also, consider its only 5 pieces and the combined stats are pretty good. Besides, any idiot can easily get the honor for this stuff. Thats why its not as good relative to how good grand marshal gear was at level 60. Blizzard realized that it is so easy to get and it is not fair for the people who raid for there to be easily obtainable gear on par with raid gear.

It's funny the rogues who don't know @#$% . This set is a good pvp set , tell me this what use is attk power and agility (yes i know dodge is handy)when you cant even crit someone ? this set is stacked with so much stam , resilliance anyone that does have some twinked out epics or good gear - chances are they wont crit you 3/4's of the time . Any good hemo stunlock rogue knows all u need is knowledge of the other class and % to hit gear and you can take them to town.All ths stam /resiliance and not to mention the " deadly throw ability that comes with the gloves is insane.Casters are going to eat %^&* even more.Anyone that says this set is &*!@ is a nub who gets pwnd by gnome warlocks.Im gettn the whole GM blue/epic set , then goin for arena weapons , 88dps per second FTW.BOO you !@#$ rogues , and boo UD horde.NIB high football RULES!

whats the use of crits if you dont do any damage with them? oO

and I prefer more attack power than stamina. Of course stamina is good, but I like more big crits. Against warrior, stamina is handy indeed, but againts mage I like more big crits so they die faster.

I now have 4/5 pieces of this set , and yes it owns , i have plenty of atk pwer through socket gems , and i have never before owned so much in bgs , for a set that doesnt have much attk power its funny because i crit cloth wearers for over 1000 with my hemo...and i 5 cmbo point deadly throw for 1400-500 , especialy those mages who blink turn and cast ,not only do they get a nice fast ranged attack on them but they get their spell canceled for 3 seconds and if that isnt long enough to catch him hit your COS and suck down that frost/firebolt and laugh in his face.Gotta love it.Sure gladiator gear is better but id rather have some time spent in my life not playing the game everyday for 20 hours .Gladiator weapons are enough for me , GM blue set/epics provide all the pvp power one needs.Just get the right gems and Faction enchants (exaulted aldor enchant on shoulders is leet , for all classes )and u will be right as rain.Get some of the set yourself and see how much longer you last in battle , wether its 1 on 1 or u got 6 on 1 , you will last longer , most of the times long enough to COS vanish , where as if you didnt have that stam/resiliance you would of been smashed 2 death before you had a chance of escape.Better to Die fighting like a champ than die quick like a chump.

What makes this set so amazing is the resilience and stamina. some noob rogue who stacked only agility is going to have about a 5% less crit chance against you, and you'll have about 3-4k more health.

i honestly cant see which is better, im going to get the pvp set only because im in battlegrounds ALL the time. ive gotten the comment, "wow ur in av more than the damn npcs!" quite a few times so imma just go with the this set.

I like this set better than assassination for pvp, but I do like the assassination haste rating bonus when you use cheapshot/kidney shot

Dungeon set for PvE and this for PvP i gotta say. but i really like assasination also...looks great and in all greatness for a pre-kara gear.

Best about this set is, it's a sure thing ! No waiting for 10% drop rates, no worrying about 12 year-old ninja looters, no weird PUG dynamics, just put you PvP time in and set is yours ! Really all that matters.

This is a amazing set i got 5/5 of it and i am pwning full epic, gets you a load of stam which rogues need at at bg!

Its is also so easy to get i got all the honor and marks in 1-2 weeks, you must get it
