the quest is pretty easy u get the thunder brew lager from guy in dagger foothills u have to have 5 hops in west fall skin of sweet rum u have to get in goldshire bottle of moonshine u get in darkshire and the cask of merlot u get in the sw winery

The drop is very random, I got 26silver, 46copper, and my friend that did it the day after me got around 40silver.

This is where all of the things you need for this quest are.

Keg of Thunderbrew Lager: A dwarf south of Moonbrook gives you this when you give him 5 hops.

Cask of Merlot: In Stormwind, go from the Trade District, to the Mage Quarter, but turn left before you cross the bridge and go into the building and someone is selling it.

Bottle of Moonshine: Buy this from the Bartender in Darkshire.

Skin of Sweet Rum: Buy this from the Bartender in Goldshire.

I am a lvl 18 gnome warrior. I got 42 Silver for a long run and about 18 Silver spent. If I would have taken the Griffon it would have cost more. The cloak brings a little more silver, and I got 1050 XP. I could have done better on a different quest - but it was easy to do.

I got 44s, which translates to about 10s profit, since you spend about 30s on buying the stuff.

Even though it doesn't seem to yield much coinage at the higher levels, the XP points still seem nice.

Call me obsessive, but I do every quest in a region when I get to it.

This one grossed me 46 or so silver. Worth it for the XP. My Night Elf tailor PC had already made better cloaks by the time I reached this quest with my human PC.

So I'll be selling the cloak.

I got it from the quest Dry Times. when i opened it up i got 44s 84c. this is worth it if u just go out and buy all the drinks at lvl 15. great xp, great rewards!

44s 9c but while i was doing this quest i managed to finish 2 others and get the exp so well worth doing :)

definitely NOT worth doing this quest. The cost of buying the 3 items is 27s 55c. The one "free" item you have to trade 5 hops for and the npc is in a very inconvenient location. add the cost of several gryphon rides and you are easily pushing 35s. My reward today was 36s 1c. Total waste of time.

only 36s 32c not even close to worth the time, expense, and effort. Should be a minimum 50s in the bag up to 1G to make it a fair reward.
