Without having any specific numbers, I can testify that the proc rate is quite good.

When it procs its haste and damage effect, it makes you Enrage like a Warrior. I used it on my Paladin, and when the Enrage effect was on me it made all my heals and spells red instead of bright yellow - very cool.

Having this weapon proc, gives quite a boost to overall DPS of the weapon in 15 seconds.

50 Haste Rating at lvl 45 is 7.03%
7.03% of 3.7 is 0,27
The attackspeed is now 3.43

But you must also keep in mind that it increases dmg done by 20.
Making the range 148-213.

With theese effects the new DPS of the weapon is ~52.6
Increasing the DPS from 43.4 to 52.6 is a 9.2 DPS increase.

Seeing from the 40-49 points view, only epics will have a better DPS.

I have this item enchanted with Crusader, and I would honestly say the proc rate is almost exactly the same for both. This seems to proc as often (if not, a little bit more often) than Crusader. And Crusader's proc chance is proc % = weapon speed * 1.82.

I would bet top dollar that this Chance on Hit is equal to the same (or 6.734% to proc on any attack; about 1 proc per minute--so it's up 25% of the time, statistically).

What this means for a level 49 twink--50 haste rating (at 49 this is 6.34% haste) brings this thing down to 3.47 speed. During that time you are hitting for 148-213 damage, making this a 52.1 DPS weapon.

If my above calculations are correct, and this is up 25% of the time, some simple math:

52.1(.25)+43.4(.75) = 45.6 DPS weapon. Not too shabby. (Especially compared to the 45.1 DPS of Executioner's Cleaver, this thing flat out beats EC for PVP because of the burst proc)

This proc is what's killer though. Not only does it make you look badass (you glow freaking RED--your spells, abilities, hands, everything!) and make the new enrage noise (the old bloodlust noise), but when the proc is up you're doing more damage than a Kang or Executioner's Cleaver. The intimidation factor alone is one thing that makes this worth keeping. Besides, when the proc is NOT up, you should be able to handle yourself if you're a good PVPer anyway. When it does proc is just makes your life so much easier.

Twinks at 49, you may not be reduced to Kang or Executioner's Cleaver. I know what I'm using.

I love this weapon.

Bought this baby for 10g on Sen'jin server and added a +7 weapon damage on it. Wooooo!

I'm 35 right now and I can't wait to use it!

My 2h weapon right now is 3.8 and this is 3.7, .1 speed off doesn't mean anything with the +50 base damage upgrade from my other mace.

I use this on my warrior (45) just equiped it last weekend and it is amazing I respected MS for it and it hits very hard my MS was critting for 850 around there (on casters) I think its better than Kang in some ways.

Less money: I got my Ragehammer for 10g Kang goes for about 400g

About the same damage but the Ragehammer proc makes the damage better and increases attack rate and that means more rage

Mace stun effect (For arms warriors with mace spec) is much better than 5% crit.
(PS Im talking only from a warrior stand point so really if you are a pally dont freak on me about not having rage and specs.)

I like this hammer because the AS is slow.I am 45 lvl paladin and i have 98 dps and i can reach 117 dps with some buffs . My weapon has 40 dps ( fiery war axe ).If I had ragehammer I could reach (117-40+45)x3.7=122x3.7=451dmg.

Lies lol its not +20 ap it IS +20 weapon damage and the proc gives a ~10% haste rating from 3.7 - 3.3. when it procs I get an increase of about 14DPS on my 45 warrior

A fair price or a jacked up twink price? You could reasonably charge 20-75g depending on your server and desire to wait for a desperate buyer.

I use this on a twinked out 49 mortal strike mace spec warrior for BG. I think it's way better than executioner's cleaver or kang's. The proc happens quite often and causes top end to be more than the axes.

very happy with mine. bought it for 20g on the AH and at 47 it's tons better than Might of Mograine obviously, ... my previous weapon. :(

The proc is "enrage" which adds 20 damage and increases haste rating by 50. It looks like a warrior's bloodrage when it goes off. I was just soloing at jintha'alor and it went off at least once every fight. Makes for big crits often for a ret pally like myself.

I've never had Blade of the Titans or any of the other similar lvl prefered 2handers, but I am happy with my ragehammer.

Update... after filling in bits of gear and messing around with specs, TopNotch is critting for 1100+ MS and 1200+ Heroic Strikes, 1000+ Whirlwind, and that's with only buffs that I can give (agility potion and battleshout). The only other mace I'd consider is the Judge's Gavel, but the top end on this sucker is amazing so for now.. this thing rules. PvP Server US, Mug'thol, Character is TopNotch for the Alliance. Also check out Regional for my 39 semi twink shaman.

What the hell? this thing is only 35g? seems like a sweet pally weap to me. its slow, its got a nice DPS AND has a chance to increase your damage. What more can you ask for?

The proc:

Chance on hit: Increases damage done by 20 and haste rating by 50 (7.03% @ L45) for 15 sec.

The "buffs" name you receive is Enrage. :) (Edit: Enrage = you become red/your special attacks become red)

Dropped off some common mob near the entrance, this was after like two hours because we came back to clear more. Nobody wanted so all greed, and i got. Thought, "Hey i got an easy 35-50g!" After about 15 days going down in price from 50... finally gave up put it up for 20 and it sold right away... Oh well, 20g isnt bad.

I wanted the Rockpounder for my Retribution pally, but you have to run Uldaman with at least three people. At a 10% droprate that may have been a lot of pugs into the back door.

I got a Green Tower to drop, sold it for 100g and bought this for 35g on Argent Dawn. I'll settle for the easy to get weapon. :)
