You need it in quest A Taste of Flame

You need to have the Black Dragonflight Molt in order to do A Taste of Flame.

In reverse Order: You get it by completing Trinkets... which becomes available after completing Set Them Ablaze! and Squire Maltrake

All of this starts with Velarok-Windblade Divine-retribution

Just do all the quests Velarok-Windblade offers with the last quest Trinkets being opening a chest nest to the NPCs.

Open the Hoard of the Black Dragonflight in your inventory and the Black DragonFlight Molt is in there.

You then do A Taste of Flame to get the Altered Black Dragonflight Molt, all so you can do the second part as a Dungeon Quest.

Got it? Whew....
