After dispatching Blazerunner, you will still have this item in your inventory. As far as I know, you will not use this item again. Ok to destroy. 29-Oct-2007.

Hint! --- Dont forget to Right Click and Open the bag given to you from completing the previous quest. Make sure all three items are extracted into one of your bags. If you only extract the book (as I did the first time) Aquementas CANNOT transform the other two items into the Silver Totem, and you will have to wait 5 mins in order to summon him again.

Can anyone tell me if you can keep the Silver Totem of Aquementas after completing the "It's Dangerous to Go Alone" quest and receiving the quest rewards? My assumption is that the totem goes away when you turn in the quest.

Can anyone confirm the Totem actually works?

If I use the totem on Blazerunner, I can see a visual change (he isn't all covered in a blueblackish haze anymore).
I don't see an active aura icon or anything on Blazerunner, so I can't see it disappear... also no debuff icon on him after I use the totem on him.

Tried attacking him with and without using the totem, but I seem to do about the same damage.
(as seen in combat log,with or without the totem: Autoshots do 145-155dmg, and bear pet 45-50).

Does the aura only affect spells and other things?

In other words, what SHOULD be different anyway?

P.S. you do lose the Totem after you return the quest. I did still have the , and , maybe you can summon Aquementas again in Tanaris? But there's no point to it really, killing him again without the quest won't give you any good drops anyway.

Everything you do deals 1/10th normal damage against Blazerunner. After using the totem, you can deal normal damage to him.

DOH!

I called the GM on this one. I did this THREE times before I finally got the totem. It's buggy: if you don't take the three items OUT of the pack (before you summon Aquementas), he SAYS you have the totem, but you don't actually GET one. :-/

And DON'T let Aquementas kill you either! You get nothing that way. LOL

well, it took me sometime to find the circle of bindings or whatever, once i got there, i did it first try easy quest. just go past the pirate docks and the whole camp, and you'll see the rocks in the sand formed in this retarted ass circle. summon him in there...

I can't tell if the totem is working so I don't know if I am using correctly. Help?

To get the totum you must have all 3 items out of the knapsack they came in. I failed the quest twice before it works. You do not have to defeat him to get the totum, but it feels GOOD.

You have to equip the Silver Totem, and then actually click on it to use it. Only then will it remove his aura. If definitely makes the fight easier.

When you turn in the quest, you will lose the Silver Totem. If you want another one, you can take the ironwood heart, silvery claws and book back to Aquementas and get another Silver Totem to keep. Not completely sure why you'd want to, but you can get another one if you haven't tossed the three items yet.

I did it he knocked me out of the circle when he attacked me and I have no totem and I can't loot him either the stuff was in my inventory and it sayed totem but no totem.

Ok. This totem is acquirable without having to kill Aquementas. You only have to stand inside the circle when the guy comes after you to get it.

Now, the reason for getting this totem is to fight the Blaze elemental guy easily. (By the way you NEED it equipped to use it.) If you don't have it when you fight Blaze, then he gains this Aura that knocks you back, and you can never attack him (least not melee). You CAN get this totem again by keeping the items you had to use to get it in the first place, and going back to that stone circle blah blah. Without this totem equipped and used, you cannot take on Blaze very easily.

I seem to have misplaced my Silver Totem of Aquementas. I don't want to start the chain over, I'm on the last part. Does anyone know where I can pick up just the Totem so I can turn in "It's Dangerous to Go Alone"? Much appreciated.

You need to stay in the circle at 70,49 until he becomes hostile. It is ok to kite outside of the circle after he becomes hostile.
