The marbles causes the magic effect "Fumble Rank 1". Think im gonne save a charge or two untill i hit 70 and see if works on outland bosses :)

They seem to work on all Burning Crusade Bosses.
They do not work on Wrath of the Lich King bosses.

My assumption is they either fixed the marbles working on bosses, or just gave Wrath bosses an immunity to the marbles.

I used it today on Prince Malch in karazhan, and it did not give the 'immune' message. However I did not see a debuff icon on him either.

I have used these on Gruul the Dragonkiller, Prince Malchezaar, and Nalorakk, and saw the debuff on all 3 of them. To bad we can't get more of em :)

Worked on Gurtogg Bloodboil during his Fel Rage even.
EDIT: It's a physical effect, so it can't be resisted, I would get and use it before it gets nerfed IMO.

This item is probibly one of the best items ever. Thanks to Blizzard's oversight, this item can be used even into level 60. I know a good friend of mine tested this item against the bosses in DM and it worked on every one.

Just played one of my old chars I created some times ago (only low level) and found this bag of marbles in my inventory. While reading the decription I was wondering if I could buy it and use it with my high lvl rogue.

And found the comment above...lol...funny item!

its not BoP either, so you can just make characters, get them to level 5 or whatever and do the quest... then delete and repeat!

can you only get one bag of marbles per player or is there anywhere else to get them? Something easier then creating new player and having to get to level 5 and then deleting it?

If you have saved these don't waste them! They work on raid bosses in MC/BWL, too.
I tried them on e.g. Mandokir in ZG yesterday and for the next 10 sec. he didn't land one hit.

Got sapped and had to wait while the other guy on D bit it, damn the rogue left me to watch. Openned my bag nailed him, other guy made it back to help finish him. So damn happy I never did this quest at lvl 5 or whatever... Looking forward to tossing one at some of the end game bosses this weekend.

Hit 66 Mage. Went to SW to get upz and decided to go beat things to death unarmed and level it up. Saw Remy and decided to see (since I think I sold the first batch to a vendor. The qwest allowed me to do it again, was just marked as a low level qwest. Maybe a new patch thing. Anyway, I got a new bag of 10 and it is in the bank for some hardcore stuff, maybe even wait til Lich comes out lol. Go try it, as I said I am 66, was 1st time I went to check since originally doing it so not sure when it allowed me to do it again.

To my knowledge the quest is not repeatable.

The bag has either 8 or 10 charges when new with a 60 second cooldown. The icon won't show the charges are remaining until you actually use at least one charge.

I had these in my bank box forever and used them on a few bosses/elite mobs. I still have 6 charges left. I'll probably save them for higher-end bosses now that I see how well (if briefly) they work.

Does anyone know what these work on?

Could be fun to throw some of these at the baron for laughs and giggles.

Maybe I'll bring some on my next run.. or let gandling feel the power of marbels ;)
