This is farmable w/ a lvl 70 SS rogue.

Sap 1 of his guards, kill the other. Vanish. Kill the 2nd guard. Preparation. Vanish. Stunlock / Evasion tank Omokk.

Took about 10 times to get the gem to drop.

As a lvl 70 31/30 warrior I had no problems obtaining the gem. I was able to solo Omokk, loot him, and die without using a hp potion.

As a lvl 70 fearl druid I was a ble to solo with easy... stealthed in cat then tanked in bear back facing wall, if he throws you to the other grp that is it. Kill guards then Omokk. Heal half way hp should only have to heal once. Very easy... GL

Blackrock Spire: The gems for the Seal of Ascension are now a 100% drop from Overlord Wyrmthalak, War Master Voone and Highlord Omokk.

i soloed omokk with lvl 62 rogue with outland greens and blues and honorhold swords i also got charm of alacrity trinket! i am subtlety rogue, and i had increased dodge rating whole fight(ghostly strike, charm of alacrity, 2x evasion)! i first killed adds, one by one, and then i waited for my CDs and i ganked him and i was left on 2k hp out of 5.7k! After garrote and hemorrhage i got 5 combos so i exposed his armor, and on next 5 points i ruptured him! and i kept doing that till he was dead :D simple

Please don't roll on this if you don't know what it is. It's a piece of the UBRS-key, Seal of Ascension. You need an Unadorned Seal of Ascension, random drop from all the mobs in LBRS, and all 3 gems from Voone, Omokk and Wyrmthalak.

These gems have about 20% drop rate on each boss.. therefore rather rare. Got 3 pieces of 4 on one LBRS run and eversince I've tried to get that stupid Voone-gem. Doing ML on every Voone kill makes it easy for me to obtain it. No nublett ninjarollers.

I have been doing this single gem for at least 3 months now. Have seen it drop once, and at that time all I had was one gem and the seal, so I passed on it for the guy who only needed this to make his key.

I think the drop rate has been significantly lowered since 1.9 because no matter how many times I do a stealth run to omokk, this thing NEVER drops.

As a 60 druid if i tried to stealth Omokk who else would i need to go with? Thanks

prolly a fera druid tank (assuming you resto) and a couple of rogues to sap-blind both adds near ommok would be nice, i hightly doubt you have a chance withow a druid-tank or just 1 rogue.

I don't think it's mandatory to give someone their "last piece". You keep running LBRS until you win the pieces you need. That's the way it goes for any "dropped" set of loot.

If you want to "guarantee" yourself a certain piece if it drops, my advice is to work that out at the beginning of the instance and make sure all party members agree. If they don't agree, decide right then and there if you're not willing to proceed.

Get it straight up front and if you decide to go along even though they won't agree to let you have it "automatically" without rolling, don't complain if someone beats you in a fair roll. That's the way the game is played, people.

I just ran this 30 times today, over and over again, had to throw in killing Voone because I reset the instance too fast.

70 Horde Druid

Didn't have to worry about someone else getting the drop, I solo'd it.

Takes 10 minutes to run in, kill the 2 guards and Omokk, run out and reset.

I wish this was a 20% drop rate. It sucks. I'm Ony attuned, BWL attuned, have my shattered halls key, but if I want to go into UBRS I have to find someone else with a key.

Update:
31st run, the run after posting this (I wasn't going to do it, but decided one more) I went and kept saying, it isn't there, it isn't there. Guess what? It was! So, instead of hoping it to be there, just be negative and think it isn't. Must be some kind of reverse Karma/Mojo thing going on.

im combat fist spec and i have been soloing him to try and get it. 7 times now and no luck. I just go in and sap one of the casters and kill the other. then vanish. i eat and then sap the one add left and dps the boss down with evade/adren rush. i dont bother cheap shotting just evis.

yea ive been hunting it down for some time, i went witha friend so i wouldn't get ganked. he got this stone and i got wyrmthaks stone, do we need all 3 stones each?

Soloed as 70 combat rogue. Stealth up to him, sap one of the casters, kill the other, vanish. Sneak away, get health back up, sap the other add, burn down the boss, vanish again or kill the add.

ALWAYS check a sparkling corpse! You might never know what you missed. I have the Unadorned Seal and the other 2 Gemstones and am still waiting for Omokk's to drop. Hopefully he'll hand over my Elements Boots sometime this year, too. UBRS key is good to have and I'm SO close. No LBRS group I have been in has ever wiped and disbanded before Omokk was dead so it should be easy enough. Omokk run anyone? :)

Yes it drops in a raid group too.
As u can see the drop is not 100% so that is why people are not sure about the drop in a raid.
