Point of note: From what I can tell, only ONE of these drops when you kill the boss. So if you have multiple people who need it for the UBRS key, you have to make multiple runs :(

Patch 2.2 Notes:

Blackrock Spire: The gems for the Seal of Ascension are now a 100% drop from Overlord Wyrmthalak, War Master Voone and Highlord Omokk.

Be carefull when looting it though. My first visit to the guy who drops this it was on masterlooter. So when this guy fell and it was my loot...i just shift clicked it and picked it all up. Along with this damn thing. Apparently that was REALLY bad because I got kicked out of the group and called a ninja. They really need to put stuff like this under the masterlooter's threshold

i don't know, if i saw something like this and didn't know it was for the key quest i would probably assume it was an item that all members could pick up especially if master looter were on. something like a omokk's head.

One of my guild officers has been to LBRS 15 times over the last month trying to get this gem.

We have 3 sets of 2/3 and all of them need this one gem.

The gems USED to be white actually. So it`s very possible he could have Shift+clicked out of habit and picked it up without realizing it.

They were changed to green a couple patches into the game to fix that

All Gems have a 100% drop rate now.

A Raid? Cause 5 manning to this cat is teh boring, and my guild needs a key. We have raided to him and no drops, but Voone dropped his so I'm assuming it does.

This is really frustrating. I have done 14 stealth runs so far and no gem dropped. 20%? Yeah right..

This says 41% drop chance. I've done 12 runs so far and never seen this drop. It might be that I'm terribly unlucky, or that the drop chance is wrong.
