Rogue lvl 49 assa spec.

when i was there i waited for them to be on the other side of the egg so i could pick the egg up without they saw me. the 3 mobs just walked around and when they come to me i got the egg and used vanish.

Ive searched the entire cave. I died, ran through the enitre cave, and it was no where. The only place in the cave that seemed reasonable as to where it is, was a rock with green light coming up from it. What im asking is...Where is the item exactly in the cave?

The egg is located in the cave behind the Priest Vexx. The basic layout of the cave is from the beginning left or right. Right leads you to a ledge where you jump down if you went left. Then the cave u-turns left and up. At the top is another way around to the right where the egg is guarded by 1 motionless pullable 50/51 elite, and then guarded by a patrol of 3x 51 elites.

As 49 rogue, and after 3 attemps, you can ninja this loot instead of having to blast your way through. Stealth into the cave, work left and up unti you wrap around to the glowing green rock, where the egg is looted. Go around to the backside stealthed, and wait for the 3 patrol group to come by. Distract them, sap the named 51 boss, when the others aggro, blind the first, gouge the 2nd and IMMEDIATELY start looting the egg. You'll need to turn on autoloot for this in interface options, and if for whatever reason one of them fails early, just vanish, wait for cooldowns and try again.

=) Feels pretty good to be sprint/stealthing out with egg in hand after that.

I found it at 57,86. There was no boss at the egg. Just a guard and 3-man patrol. I sapped the guard and then distracted the patrol while I was standing on the rock. As soon as they're distracted I backed off the rock so that I was out of their line of site and auto-looted. Then I vanished and stealthed out. Piece of cake.

6 flights of stairs, then HARD left. NOT through the Arch at that level :-) good directions for ghost?

I started doing this quest so i could get my mallet of Zul Farrak the alter for it is in front of this cave, then i went inside and cleared the egg is in the far corner very back of it and its green there are 3 guards guarding it plus there is one on the wall that u could prolly kill him solo i did die this quest is better for grouping and is like a maze in there and they can dismount you.

Would this be easy for a druid in cat form though?

Yes it would be easy for a druid just go cat form stealth to where you find the egg and if you are a balance druid at lvl 50 it would be easy just like it was for me, just summon your trees then they will distract the named guy with 2 bodygaurds and as soon as you have the egg run out as fast as you can like i did as cat form sprinting or watever its called to make you run faster when your a cat.

Cave entrance is at 59.05, 78.66. At the very top of Jintha'alor. The cave is full of lvl 50 - 52 elites and the egg is guarded by a patrol of 3 mobs constantly circling it.
