In the first big room after you zone in, the deed is lying on a table in the NE corner.

it is in the very back of the first room, like the above posters said. Its hidden behind those bookshelfs... (or whatever).

Not stealthable.

This is completely Stealthable! just hide behind the shelf and pick it, i just solo it...piece of cake!

Soloable yes. But you need to be an engineer. Get as close as you can get, hug the wall, Use the mind control helmet on one quickly send the pet against the other and grab the deed. Then die.

its on a table...kept reading shelf and died 3 or 4 times..

it is stealthable, at least as a rogue.

sap one mob and blend the other, gard deed - there you go !

P.S: you can also do it like the other poster said above - stealth behind the cupboard till you can grab the deed and grab it! no one will see you, have fun :)

had to do this deed solo because our party split because of red armor and i badly want to finish the quest.

I can confirm that it's stealthable by hiding behind the shelf. 60 druid here, no rogue tricks needed, just good placement.

soloing scholo and strat are nice money for a lvl 70 I tell ya ;D

It is on the back wall from the stairs, between the two far left bookshelves on a table.

Solo'd as a 60 Rogue in Classic. Stood against the wall next to the bookshelf. Sap'd the mob on the left, blinded the mob on the right, looted deed, Vanish. Not bad at all.

Stealthable as Druid in Classic. Stay behind the bookshelf at very max range and loot the deed. The mobs will not aggro. Watch for the ghost patrol.
