i am first. lol but i haven't seen anyone even attempt this quest. It says where to get it but i just haven't gone there or seen the anyone with any of these rewards? is it a hack at all.

As of 1.11 (June 20, 2006) that Ghost is now downstairs by the cart.

ok why the heck do peeps rant on and on about stupid crap that doesnt even explain nothing about this quest. not this instanced thank god for who posted this it helps me a lot now but if anyone has done can you please just post on how to do quest.

Well worth doing just to see Ras turn into a mortal...and besides if you are running Scholo you need to kill him anyway.

It does not matter whether you use the special book (given to you to complete the quest) on him as the first blow or if others in the party have started to hammer him.

The book channels a green ray much like the warlocks drain life.spell.

I did not time it but it takes about 30 seconds for the transformation to be complete - you must channel the book thing uninterrupted to achieve the effect.

A few times Ras casts a knockdown type effect that interrupts the channeling but if you have a good tank you will get there.

Suddenly the towering thing in the bizarre wedding dress turns into a human! no easier to kill but looks cool. The real bonus is if, like my run, the rest of the party have no idea that the transformation is going to occur....WTF! lol.

Incidentally, I just handed in the quest and chose the cloth crown reward, but you actually recieve the shield (which Disenchants into a Large Brilliant Shard) as well as which ever other item you choose! Very cool
