I've fished these in Scholomance. Fishing there requires more than 320 skill but less than 370.

He means the required fishing skill is somewhere between 320 and 370, not what the maximum fishing skill is.

Pets that eat fish, do eat these. And they count as 35 happiness at lvl 60. So these are just as good as the Baked Salmon, but they don't cost the 1s+ for Soothing Spices.

I was fishing today in AV with a skill of 23 when I started. You don't need any specific skill level to fish there.

There are NO schools for this kind of fish.

Just Sagefish, Deviate Fish, Greater Sagefish, Firefin Snapper, Oily Blackmouth, Muddy Churning Waters, Floating Wreckages, and those Tastyfish in the Stravaganza, as I can recall.

It seems the Plated Armorfish are only catchable during the Night(6pm-6am), while during the day you catch Lightning eels instead.

I fished a bunch of Lightning eels up while waiting for a guild ZG run inside ZG.... when i went back later that night i caught no eels but a bunch of Plated Armorfish instead.

I noticed just now while fishing in karazhan that I was catching all armorfish and nightfins, when it turned 6am i suddenly started catching eels and sunscales instead....

both lightning eels and plated armorfish are used in new AD quests so it makes sense to hold onto both.

Using Aquadynamic Fish Attractor's (Bright Baubles work, but not as well. Alot of "fish got away") and Big Iron Fishing Pole.

Deadwind Pass/Ravine/Karazhan - 23.1%
Strathome(O/I) - 21.2%
Northdale - 20%

Nice profit selling the extra stacks of fish I caught I must say.

There is a new group of quests from Argent Dawn, which allow players to collect tokens which, in turn, can be exchanged for some very nice armor.

I like to farm them at the Frost Fire Hotspings in Winterspring. It's probably one of the safest places to farm them.

Well, why the hell would you want to farm this fish anyhow. Trying to get salmon for cooking, but seems like 50% is this crap fish. In winterspring btw..

I find it hard to believe that the auction house price is correct... it took me about an hour to fish 20 of these, and it's telling me to sell them for over 2000g? Craziness! If anyone has a more realistic price that they're selling them for, please tell me!

Finally some use for it and lightning eels as well. They will be used in turn in reputation quests for AD after patch 1.11

Any ideas what this is for? It's only found in high skill fishing areas. Frostfire Hot Springs is over 300. Requires bait, stat rod, enchantments etc.

first off i'd like to lodge a complaint about the dude that posts that giant fishing for dummies on every fishing related item. get over it and get a life.

it would be nice if you could choose which writ from the ad, then it would be a little more worthwhile. seeing as how you cant and these and the lightening eels coe from such high level fishing areas ive stored multiple stacks oh a bank toon hoping blizz becomes more enlightened so we can use ALL the items available in the world.

FWIW tried to fish in EPL. With my skill, +25 pole, and +75 lure I had 325. Skill not high enough for EPL.
