Im not skinner and on my server rugged leather costs about 10-12g a stack. Gold bars cost avg 55s, so i found cheaper to do this cloack instead

I REFUSE to buy it from the Auction House for 18g! That's RIDICULOUS! I've been camping her for a good 4 days now at least, nope never even seen it on her yet. But will keep trying, sigh..farmers.

I cannot believe I wasted 3 hours waiting for these stupid gloves in Winterspring! Bought like 4 patterns for the runecloth bag, 5 enchant 100 major health, etc. LOL! When the whole time, I could have just bought the thing. There is no mention of it at all on Allakhazam....

I see people saying that this can be purchased from tailor trainer in Tarren Mill inside church now at 280 skill. But my toon is standing at Tarren Mill right now talking to the trainer(at 280 skill) and he is not offering to teach this recipe. I have looked, looked again, and then stopped and looked more closely to make sure I am not having a brain fart, but... the recipe isn't there.

(No idea if this is relevant, but I do have BC installed, just fyi.)

i had the same problem but then checked tailoring after flying around the world a few times looking for the trainer and found i had already bought the skill from the trainer in hillsbrad DOH!

This recipe has a limited supply of 1. Don't know the cooldown.

i was told the cooldown is about 15 mins or so on this item.

i waited there today for about 15 mins and sure enough there was the pattern. A nelf had just left so i assume that's what he was buying.

Now the gloves are trainable from the Master Tailor's and above aka Daryl Stack in Tauren Mill. Hope this helps

in Classic, they are only available from Qia in Winterspring. Seems rarer than the other patterns she sells.

1. make macro:
/run for i=1,GetMerchantNumItems() do local l=GetMerchantItemLink(i) if l then if l:find("Pattern: Runecloth Gloves") then BuyMerchantItem(i, 1)end end end
2. bind macro on "2" button
3. go to Key bindings -> Targeting -> Interact With Target -> bind "1" button
4. target Qia with
/target Qia
5. spam buttons 1 *pause* - 2 (couple of clicks) - Esc; 1 *pause* - 2 (couple of clicks) - Esc; and so on.

I needed two copies of this for my alts.

I bought this recipe from Qia, then set a timer to 1h and did something else. After the timer expired, I flew back to Everlook from Orgrimmar and was surprised to see this recipe available again.

Judging from my experience, this can respawn after one hour of being bought.

This is now learned from a tailoring trainer. Don't camp the vendor for hours like I did.

In TBC Pattern: Runecloth Gloves is available from the trainers in capital cities. No need to farm Qia for the pattern. (I think that since it is available from trainers she no longer carries the pattern. At least, I haven't seen it in her stock.)
