A BIG must for all priests! This is probably the best you'll get as far as enchants go on your weapons. Unless you're going for more Intel. The only down side to this enchant is it's high costs. If you can't get this I'd highly suggest the +22 Intel enchant

Spellsurge is effectively +7Mp5 for all party members within 40 yards. It is clearly superior to Healing Power in a 10-man or 25-man raid.

29' can grab a weapon that is item level 35, Which can get the +81 heal also.

A good quest item at level 29 with no required level may have a nice item level. If you're able to obtain these items then you'll be a true twink when it matters, the 29 bracket.

I just got it on my priest twink. After weeks of requesting the enchant.. Only like 2-3 on my server had it and two of them had leaved.. So it makes me happy that the third person who had it actually logged on! O_o

Both Nikiyaki and Jimi are incorrect, as they would know from a simple test. Nikiyaki is much closer to the truth, however.

For example, as a druid with over +450 healing power gear in my bank, I can tell you that Rejuvenation, to choose an instant-cast HoT spell, takes exactly 80% of the bonus, and then splits it across all the ticks. Not "negligible", by any means, but still not the full amount.

Having never played a priest, I cannot give you their percentages, but notice that Renew gives you an exact amount of healing per cast. As such, it is a simple matter to calculate the approximate contribution.

It is a much more complicated matter when heals with ranges are used. In this case, we have to put our faith in Blizzard, which said about the same thing as Niki.

I just saw someone with the green glowing sorcerous dagger and healing power enchant. The enchant doesnt do anything to the dagger. It just glows green still.

I use a 1 handed mace called the Hammer of Grace that already increases healing done by spells and effects by up to 31. Will this enchant stack on top of the hammer's current healing bonus giving me +86 to healing total? Has anyone tried this?

- non instant spells gain a fraction (base cast time / 3.5)
- instant spells gain a fraction (duration / 15)

So druids' HoTs indeed gain 12/15 = 80%
while priests' renew gains 15/15 = 100%.

and flast heal gains 1.5/3.5 = 43%

I have been testing with +150 on healing spells.
Prayer of healing was healing a roughly estimate average of 40 more than what it should. That means that it barely gets a 27% of +healing spell.

Following the 3/3.5 rule it should be 85,7% so there must be another reduction effect for being a multi heal.

I'm a druid using a Hammer of the Grand Crusader with this enchant on it... It attracts alot of attention for one, and secondly, it helps out alot for the healing. +77 to heals on my weapon. insane. helps me get off those 4k+ crit heals. =)

You only get 43% of the benefit on a 1.5 second cast, but you can cast 2.3 times over the same 3.5 seconds. That still translates to getting the same bonus over the same amount of time. Arguing that faster heals don't get as much of a bonus is inaccurate, because faster heals can be landed more often than slower heals, thus the very reason they cannot benefit from the full effect.

It's all the same.

That said, stacking healing gear should be the primary goal of a raiding paladin. While a truly great pally will have gear sets for whatever life throws, our bread and butter is spamming flash heal on the raid.

I tank boss adds in MC on occasion, and do what little DPS I can when I am not consumed by either healing or tanking. I am specced 31 into protection for the occasions that i do get to tank ( because it's my favorite thing to do on my pally), but my +350 healing on my gear, and 20 points in holy, along with my healing techniques, leave me as a constant #1 on the healing charts in my raids. + healing is awesome for pallies because Flash of Light is so very mana efficient. When we're able to approach the effectiveness of a priest's flash heal, with a spell that costs less than half the mana, we suddenly become an unstoppable health battery, both in PvE, and PvP (I wear the same gear for both, usually)

As a holy paladin, I just the last piece of my Lawbringer, and someone in our guild won this enchant. Not sure which one is better though.

yeah a lot of the newer servers just dont have this. most guilds just pass over MC,BWL,Naxx, etc nowadays. so 19 &29 heal twinks just cant find it. i dont know of anyone horde side on Onyxia that has it.

Alliance users on gorefiend... PST Player Rodpheus for this enchant. I asked about 40 high lvl healers and no one had it but him. You must have all mats too for him to enchant your item. I left a screenshot above as well.

Some previously posted, asking is this really worth giving up 9+ int for, here's AN answer.
Most priests use the Glowing Brightwood, Argent Crusader or Trindlehave Staff - all good weps, get 9+ int on them.

Go to DM and do a tribute run, or whatever, become king, in the tribute this drops the Brightly Glowing Stone

In BRD the chest of seven the Hammer of grace dropsThe Hammer of Grace your healing power enchant on this wep.

Then go do the Scholo quest line and get the dancing sliver put 9+ spirit on it

Here's how it goes, start with your 9+ int enchanted wep, and once a few heals have been cast, you no longer need your top mana, so switch to the healing weps - the hammer and stone.
When your oom switch to the Dancing Sliver to regen, as it gives and extra 7 mana per tic over the other staves.

When you start healing again, switch to the healing weps and keep repeating.

Putting this on anything lower than an MC-level(Finkle's Lava Dredger, Aurastone Hammer, Staff of Dominance, Will of Arlokk) healing weapon would be a major waste of cash. I got this on my Staff of Dominance the second i won it.

The enchant glows a faint white in the 1.5.0 patch. I figure +55 healing is abit better than +9 int overall in the mana conserved.

How much of that 50 translates into a flash heal? Bliz stated extra spell power items don't give the full effect with shorter spells.

Also, is it really worth giving up a +9 int enchant for? 135 mana, or 50(or less) xtra healing?

put this on a hammer of grace (yes, the 37 dps hammer from the BRD, which my 60 healerdin STILL uses as main weap - simply b/c it's +28 heal own) and you get a dream weapon for the healerdin ^^
