yeah, the engineering guy in BB sold mine to me, its a limited amount, so he may not have them when you go, just keep trying.

It's not your transforming (like the cartoon) transformer, its an electric transformer, which (in real life anyway) converts one voltage into another voltage.

This item available from TRAINER now.
It used to be a recipe. I suspect they changed it with BC or 2.0 because the cap is much higher now.

Actually, you have to be an engineer to get the plans. After you complete the "Are we there, Yeti?" quest out of Winterspring, go back that same npc and she should have an "!" above her head. Click on it, she will ask you if you want to learn how to make one, accept and--voila! You can make your own tranquil mechanical yeti. You will only get the yellow "!" if you are an engineer and high enough level. I don't know what the level is as I was at 343 when I learned the plans. Note:: These are unique items. You can only have 1 at a time in your bank/bags. If you plan on selling them, do not bind one to yourself. A possible way around this ( I have not tried it so not sure if it works) but you could sell your pet yeti to a vendor, hurry and make a new one, put it up at the AH, then go back and purchase back your pet from the vendor you sold it to. That *might* work. Not positive though.

Engineers can make this for you. They need to be around 275. It's general engineering.
