Unfortunately, one cannot dispel a polymorph on himself with this item - the wording can be a bit confusing. The health and mana restoration however is well worth it.

This is great in PvP when your priest gets polymorphed with noone else around who can cleanse/dispel.

Much better odds if your a pvp hunter that your pet will get polymorphed and seeing as you will have a melee pet and it's a mage polying the pet his melee coming back is a god send.

Some information:
- Affected by +healing (good for being oom, or just having it anyways)
- Not useable to self when sheeped, but when not being sheeped it can heal and restore mana to you (can critically hit)
- Usable for level 39 twinks, very handy..
- Does not share cooldown with potions, healthstone or anything like these

Needs confirmation:
- Works in arena?
- Mana-effect can critically restore?

sucks they never made a lvl 70 version, the fights with polymorph's that would be made easy with one of these would be amazing.

the only thing this would be good for is to un-polly teammates in BG, so it can sometimes be useful depending on the situation (always good for a backup trinket)

I (paladin healer) use this trinket for MC/BWL boss fights that tend to last several minutes. Compare this to a Mindtap Talisman:

Major Recombobulator: Average 2*500 health/mana by using it twice in 5 minute cooldown. So if the fight lasts 5 minutes this is on average 1000 health and mana on a seperate timer from potions.

Mindtap Talisman: 11 mana/5sec = 132 mana/min = 660 mana/5 min

So if you consider you may also use mana to heal yourself the recomobulator is excellent if you can't get Mar'li's Eye.

I also noticed last night in BWL that the recombobulator apprently takes +healing/damage into effect. It hit me for 857 health once, and then later on for over 1100. I dunno if the 1100 was a crit or not, but we'll see. I'm also not sure, but I believe it gave back 1100 mana as well. USed up the last charge, and haven't had time to make more yet, but I'm going to experiment with that. I suggest, if you use them, that you do the same...

I had +310 Healing during this ss, didn't use my Talisman. Because the Maximum without +Healing is 625 this lets me assume that the FULL +Healing is calculated into this effect, and it's not counted as a instant spell (would only recieve 43%). So this makes this item really useful in addition to the felwood plants =). In Healing gear it's hitting for about 700-950 HP and 375-625 MP.

If you attempt to cast this effect to yourself when polymorphed, it doesn't do anything. BUT IF you use this when you aren't polymorphed, it just restores mana/health without sharing CDs with Healthstone/Potions... Dont know about Health/Mana pot injectors .. :)

This can be used on Loatheb by healers without triggering the debuff. Given that its healing power coefficient is 1 and that all the healers in that fight will have a crit buff, it often will heal for 2k plus. Well worth it.

Scales 100 % with + healing, using this on lotheb in naxx, heals for 1.6 k and crits for 2.5k
