This is probably the best BLUE +damage necklace for shadowpriests and warlocks pre-raid.

https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=19426 is slightly better. +2 damage to everything. Requires some time to farm.

Yeah, it's a great neck for any warlock/shadow priest. Farming Vectus means having the Dawn's Gambit with you every time, though. As you can see, the drop rate kinda sucks. ><

I'm stuck in a negative rut in my guild DKP so I'll never get anything nonset pretty much, so I am so glad I have this neck. Had no idea what the room full of students was for before doing the event the one time I did it, and rolled against my boyfriend and won this when it dropped. He still has yet to get it, lol.

it dropped in my 10th run but a mage decided to roll need on it and he beat me by 1

I've been in Scholo runs that have done Dawn's Gambit a few times... not more than 6 times I'd have to say. Out of the six times I've seen Vectus and his Mr. Smithers assistant, the Skullsmoke Pants dropped twice, and finally last night this pendant dropped.

Ever since finding Vectus's lootable, I've always made sure to check with each Scholo run I've been apart of, to see if anyone can do the Dawn's Gambit event, in hopes of a chance at this sweet necklace.

Last night I was in a group with another warlock who has only very recently hit level 60. Also, the dawn's gambit was brought by her and the neck was a huge upgrade for her so I happily passed it to her after happily seeing it drop ^^

Dropped the other night for me, great upgrade from Anastari heirloom for a shadow priest. Now if I farm for animated chain necklace for healing, I wonder If I should even bother farming for the orb of the darkmoon.

I agree. Im just checkin out some stuff for my alt Shadow Priest and this necklace is sick. Gratz too all who have it, wish me luck :)

The drop rate is ridiculous low. I've already seen drop an Eye of Ragnaros, 2 Mageblades, Staff of Dominance, but not seen this neck.
