very hard to obtain these days --- no one runs UBRS anymore -- thus no killing of The Beast. And he is not one that is easily soloable. I get owned with my 70 feral druid, but then again I may be bad.

It will probably fetch a pretty penny on the AH since no one runs UBRS anymore.

If you're wanting this item you need at least 3 people to get past one of the rooms, 1 healer and 2 dps(don't really need a tank but just 1 of the dps in mail or better would be recommended). You or one of the people in your group needs a https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=12344 (if no one in the group has it you will need to do the quest for it, it starts fromhttps://www.wowhead.com/tbc/npc=10296). I got this card on my fifth attempt and man i love this and will never be without it...when I'm raid buffed this thing gives me more mana then a mana potion when it procs(without an alchemist stone).

I would recommend getting the deck for spirit healers, although if you don't want to farm it you will most likely have to pay 1k+ for the ace since no one does UBRS anymore. However, the other cards (2-8) are fairly cheap. I bought most of the others from 4-15g each.

note: This trinket can proc back to back times...no internal cooldown with it. Sometimes ill be around 2000 mana, this card will proc back to back for around 3200 mana each proc and give me around a full mana bar.

Great for any healer, including resto druids. If you do find a group to do UBRS and you have cards 2-8 in the set do not expect others to pass, they will need on it just to sell immediately in trade channel. By the way, don't group with "Warlook" on Silvermoon ;-(

Out of the four aces, this is arguably the best one and hardest to drop.

Ace of warlord = King Gordok = can be 5 manned
Ace of elementals = Major elemental bosses (hydrospawn, etc) = can be 3 manned or even soloed.
Ace of Portal = Darkmaster Gandling = can be 5 manned or easily 10 manned.
Ace of Beast = The beast at UBRS = Will wipe a bad 15 man PUG.

For all of u out there who r asking how much you should sell this for....do this instead...talk to one of your guildies who can actually USE this card for a really nice set....priests and casters will love u forever. dont be greedy, this is a great piece that will be a nice addition to any MC guild!

Lol this has dropped for my guild 4 times now and now we have 4 very happy healers. trust me its much better to invest it in your healers then to make a quick buck.

Its a great caster trinket, gives u a chance of continuing mana regen while casting, which is GREAT for healers, and all other casters as well.
This goes to its full potential in long boss fights tho...

I was cruising the AH and saw the Ace for 50G. Having seen this thing sell for 250+ G I bought this immediately.... Hopefully I'll be able to piece together the rest of the deck.

Don't know if this was a fluke, but I got mine off of one of the elite trolls while farming soul shards just outside the entrance to the Zul' Gurub instance - about 6 months ago. Never saw it drop off the Beast.

Probably wouldn't recommend farming the Ace there, but just thought I'd mention it.

I'm a lvl 70 holy pally and I really need this card... people don't realize that holy pallys can be as useful as priests. Working on this deck and portals deck.. that way I can heal and if the group wipes, theres still a chance of me self rezzing and rezzing the rest of them.

The trinket that this card makes, although meant for lvl 60s, is still extraordinary at lvl 70. One of my guildies has ran through ubrs about 30 times to get the ace, half the time triple-boxing the place on one computer. It finally dropped one run and he is now using the trinket in raids. This card is definately worth getting because it can give back so much mana during long fights.

First i needed the key. Last boss dropped a quest item and a epic. https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=13143/mark-of-the-dragon-lordfree flask of mighty restoration(BRLS)
Second was to kill the beast. 1 drop ace of beasts. got the deck now for my resto druid.
Lower spire was 2 manned and Upper spire was 2 manned untill the beast. Solo'd him. I think im lucky.

Both lvl 70 feral druid full vengefull and lvl 70 3/5 vengefull elemental shaman.

Shouldnt be a problem for anyone. i suggest u take a melee dude with u, since the guards some kind of kick and counterspell u.

Is this drop rate only since the patch when the card actually started dropping? Or does it include kills pre-patch when the card wasn't even on the beasts loot table?

Bought this for 400g which is cheap on my server, usually goes for 600-800g. I'm too lazy to Farm UBRS for it, so I was like, screw my epic mount, and I bought it. Just have to wait two weeks for the Faire to come to Mulgore, even though I'm alliance, it's a journey worth making for the trinket!

I think it was either the second or third time through brs I saw it drop, rolled on it, wont it, didnt know what it was, lol. Now that I do, once I find the other cards my priest will have a decent trinket to use.

Just did my first UBRS run last night. The ace droped from the beast and I won it with a 16 roll lol. I already had the 3 and 8, picked up all but the 6 for under 10g each on the AH. The 6 was going for 40g on the AH (Bronzebeard)... I assume it's a supply and demand thing. Looking forward to the fair coming to town next week :p

Anyone know the real droprate on this? I mean the card was introduced with the latest patch and the percentage above is calculated from the total Beast kills reported a long way back!

Things to do :
1 - Complete quests in LBRS (Various Boss)
2 - Get Key for UBRS
3 - Complete Key Quests (Various Location)
4 - Get a third ppl (Not about killing, It's about Summon)
5 - Enter LBRS
6 - Go to UBRS from LBRS
7 - Kill all mobs in first room
8 - MUST BE 3 PPL before Woltk
9 - Summon Fire Elemental Boss
10 - Proceede
11 - Get to The Beasts Chamber
12 - Kill it
13 - May the god be with you for drop rate

Looking to farm Beast in UBRS for Ace of Beasts for DMF rep. You will need Ring of Ascension to open the first door, and three people clicking the summoning stone to activate the first boss, Pyroguard Emberseer. This makes it fairly difficult to access if looking to solo farm.

Comments above hinted that in patch 3.0.8 the 3 person click requirement is removed, allowing for solo farm. Cross fingers this is updated in WOTLK Classic prepatch.
