Dire Maul is one of the best set of instances in the game, bar none. The Dire Maul healing leather outperforms Wildheart for any healing druid hands down and the other drops are sweet!

sadly you hunters out there going for this are mistaken...as Darkmoon Card Heroism says sometimes heals the bearer when damaging an enemy...IN MELEE

I honestly can't think of a good Darkmoon card for hunters...what is awesome for hunters is this Amulet of the Darkmoon

yes u need this ace plus the other 7 card total of 8 to get the trinket but welll worth it

Seems there may be some exploit to get these more easily in patch 1.8. There are now 15 up on the AH, 7 from the same person, priced under 100g.

with the 1.9 patch the drop rate of the aces will be increased a bit however the drop rate of the others will lower a bit. Buy watever you can now before the price goes way up

Aces and warlord decks didnt show up on Auction house for months. Then all of a sudden people are selling them left and right for prices from 200-100 gold. How did they find out how to farm this. WTF!

Omg! Today I logged in to my account and went to check AH on Chrommagus EU (alliance). And what I found, was 11 ace of warlords in ah. Some of them starting prise from 2.5g each and short time left. Must be a record!

theres currently an exploit that lets you teleport to the Gordok King.
Henche the drop in price of the Ace and Forors Compendium.

Apparently these drop like mad now... about 10-15 on the AH at once on Skywall, averaging 5g each (except for the lunatic who slapped it up there for 200g...). Meh... I'll wait for the exploit to be fixed... hopefully the price will rise again so I'll have something to do with these 10 Aces.

Obviously the exploit hasnt been fixed or there is something else wrong, im ona relatively new server, Sen'Jin and theres always 5-10 of these on ah along with a handful of Foror's....ive been buying up all the aces i can for like 10g, hoping that blizzard nerfed sumthing and should be fixed soon. I hope i didnt waste all my gold..

I asked on the wow forums about this and they showed me this link. So it does indeed seem to be a hack. I bought about 35 of these babies at an average of 4g each. Can't wait til they go up in price. :)

Yeah, I got this one for 15g from AH @ VASHJ, alliance side, seems to be normal price for this as of now. Im also thinking of geting full Wlord.

I was just doing runs with my guild, ubrs/lbrs strat scholo, and dm all in 3 or 4 days, in the 3 or 4 days, 7/8 cards dropped and i won the greed roll on 5/8 of them and a guildy that won the other 2 cards that dropped just gave them to me. now the only thing i lack is the ace of warlords. I'm a fury warrior, would it be best to make the deck and turn it in for the heroism card or to make the deck and sell it for 500g?

ive never done DM, cept to get my epic mount cause im a warlock and even then i just got summoned to the horse you talk to after my other warlock friend did the event xD. Im wondering if you think a 70 lock could solo the boss who drops the ace of warlords, my warrior is lvl 60 and i have the rest of the set so getting him the trinket would be handy.

I got one yesterday whilst wandering aorund confused and lost in DM north trying to figure out how to get my epic mount to happen... we sorta decided to kill gordok.... and we killed him... it was fun... they made us king of the Orcs.... that was swell... and I got this card... I have no idea what to sell it for... cause on my server it seems no one wants to buy it...

I went WTS ace of warlords... then someone was like 35 silver! and I said how about 175 gold... then the guy ignored me... so I didn't get to call him cheap...

but uhhhhh how much is it worth? sounds pretty rare... most of these posts are kinda old though

This is good for Rogue, Fury Warrior, Tanks of most kinds, enhance shammy. not good for healers, mages, or hunters for obvious reasons

I've now confirmed that the Ace of Warlords only drops once every 50 kills of King Gordok (2% drop rate). I think the drop rate was higher when it first came out and it was nerfed. :(

8 of these are listed right now on Archimonde Alliance AH. 4 have BO's of 22g. 4 have bids starting at 10g with no buyout. Seems pretty cheap to me!

yea... im lookin at the AH right now, there is 8 Ace of Warlords up on the AH ally side Archimonde... all are below 10g, GG blizz with teh DM glitch where rog ues can solo Gordok

btw, all 8 of them are up there by the same guy

This just dropped, when i was in AV, off one of the horde gaurd at the tower closes to IBGY, i was very serprised to see it drop there.

The exploit farming continues... there are a dozen or so of these listed on the alliance side AH's, Stormrage Realm... most expensive is under 4g, cheapest being 3g buyout.

Same thing with all the DM Trinket books, they're all 3-6g buyouts now, when a few months ago they were hard to find for under 30g for many classes.

Blizzard really needs to fix this soon. :\
