I bought my first greater prise today and I received a frostweave patter, i'm not sure which. And along with it I got the mace Bonesnapper ( https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=13027 ). So I dunno if it's another possible item or a random world drop. But I thought I would share :)

i did about 6 turn ins this time around, 5 were crappy or mediocre greens, the 6th was dalewind trousers and felcloth boot pattern. gonna have fun again next month.

why Traveler's Backpacks are plummeting in value on my server (Azgalor). Used to be 20ish gold; now I regularly see them for 12.

Grinding for like 400 tickets take so many hours it's crazy. Instead of hoping of getting a traveller's backpack by cashing the tickets, why not simply grind for a few hours and buy them on the AH for like 20g?

Only purpose of gathering tickets imho is getting the epic.

You should get the epic rewards first. There you need 1200 Tickets, but you get a really nice epic necklace!

After you have your Necklace, you can turnin your spare tickets for the greater darkmoon prize.

Otherwise i think its an absolute waste of time, if you aren't very very lucky and got some blues out of it!

From what i can remember, I did torn bear pelts on my low lvl hunter twice, then soft bushy tails 3 times, then vibrant plumes once (had to buy 4 plumes but then someone helped me get the last one in Deadwind pass). So i spent 68s, and a few hours, during which i was also questing.

I got https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=12025/selenium-chain with 5mana/5s. I'd rather hang on to my https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=1714/necklace-of-calisea 8stam/7int/7spir, though, so hopefully it'll auction for something good. Someone else is selling the Chain with 8int/8spir for only 2g68s to 3g 35s, hopefully mine will sell for more!

Just got a Greater, 2 x Lessers & a Minor.

I'm a lvl 51 Rogue.

Got some cloth shoulders, mail boots, a mana regenerating ring & a low lvl mace.

Nothing of any use and I doubt I'll get 5g in gold for them at the AH.

The last time the DMF was in town, I had five tickets remaining......but the fair left town before I could use them. Those tickets were sitting in my bank for a really long time. I hated to get rid of them, so when the fair arrived in Goldshire again, I grabbed the tickets from my bank. They are still good! /cheer (just thought you'd like to know)
