Spend about 100 gold on kingsblood, farm incendosaur scales for 3 hours, and buy a couple hundred coal, and BAM your friendly with them. Buy 1000 dark iron residue for about 8 gold and BAM your honored with them. Spend about 3000 gold on buying dark iron ore/MC drops, core hound skin, heart of mountain, etc. and BAM your revered with them and get the +22 enchantment... I haven't gotten enough gold or dkp for the 3rd part yet unfortunatly...

to get to friendly status with Thorium you need
240 Incendiasaur Scales (they will be permacamped)
480 Kingsblood (24 stacks)
120 Coal (which you can purchase from Master Smith Burninate himself for 4s or 4gold 20silver for the lot.

To get from Friendly to Honored takes 6,000 reputation point and you have a different quest that wants 4xDark Iron Residue (a common random drop in BRD) for 25 faction points.

This is not at all only for warriors.

Imo a feral druid would benefit from this on a 2h mace. I myself have a hybrid druid and it's easy to put this on like Twig of the World Tree, that makes it a nice AP weapon as druids gains 2AP per 1STR.

So basicly this is 30AP for a feral druid, which is kinda nice.

15 Str to a onehand isn't just a simple 30 attack power buff for a warrior. This Enchant, in my mind, siuts a warrior very well becuase str also adds ammount blocked to a shield. I know end game tanks in aq40 and bwl who take 15str and 2%block over crusader and stam.

which is better +5 weapon dmg or +15 str for a one hand? btw im fury duel weild. also could anyone tell me about how much this costs

15 str adds 2.1 dps, and less than 1 to the block value of a sheild (20 str adds 1 block, not %chance to block, but amount of damage absorbed when blocking).
5dmg adds more than 2.1dps if your weapon speed is faster than 2.4 (ie most dual weilding fury spec warriors). 15str is better if your weapon speed is slower than 2.4 (most two handers)

over all, i prefer agility.

As a druid, yes strength is relevant. I would take the agi over this though, and on 2H maces actually prefer iron counterweight. Yes, it doesn't make your weapon glow, but it's basically 3% more damage and rage in bear form (I doubt 15str will bring 3% more damage, but I didn't do any math on it). The effect on cat form may not be quite as significant.

If you ONLY cared about damage in cat form, it would probably be the best. Agi is nice, but str tends to be more DPS (it depends how much crit you have), and faster attack speed doesn't add anything to cat form extra attacks.

I'm an enchanter too, and not going to bother with this if I need rep to get it.

If I'm not mistaken the +5 damage enchant is normalized such that its effect is reduced on weapons classed as fast (ie daggers). If you ask me Blizzard has done a very poor job of defining what is going on under the covers of their screwy melee system.

Im a level 50 warrior. When i get to 51 i am going to buy this weapon. I am wondering... should i get the +15 str.? or get the +9 damage. I already have 20% chane to crit. So what advice do yall have?

if you know how to do the math, +9 dmg would give you just a little bit more dps over +15 str. however take in consideration when you are not acting alone, there are buffs such as blessing of king & marks of the wild etc which can boost your total stats, your +9 dmg would stil be the same whilst your 15 str can be multiplied. so the effect can vary depending on circumstances.

wow, even more new weapon enchants. this is pretty nice, maybe there'll be agil (possibly farther down alla's list), for all the rogues to drool over. I especially cant wait for that, any rogue would like a nice +30 agil

It's a hell of a lot easier to get to Friendly with the Thorium Brotherhood than to Exalted with the Timbermaw Hold though...

You don't need exalted with the timbermaw, the only thing you get from exalted timbermaw is a quest for an epic trinket. You get the +15 agi at honored.
