The following items give the following bonuses to stealth. 5 points means that you will be as difficult to detect in stealth as a character one level higher. (So if you are a level 22 character and have 15 stealth bonus points, you will be as difficult to detect as a level 25 character with none.)

This enchant increasess your stealth by 5, which is one chatacter level's worth. This is the same as Whisperwalk Boots or Nightscape Boots. Combine this with those boots and the 3 level's worth from Master of Deception 5/5, you'd essentially be stealthing as a level 65. By the way, that's about half as much as you'd need to fully counteract a human's Perception (10 level's worth).

Every point into MoD is worth 3 points. 1 level of stealth = 5 points. This adds 5 points. It's equal to one level of stealth, nearly equal to two points of MoD. A Night Elf Rogue with this enchant only needs two points into MoD. :o

Nice enchant especially for rogues in PVP. I just got it off moam in AQ 20 tonight. I was quite happy bout that :) can also do it on durotan alliance side /w garlochlan if interested.

I'm a lvl 54 NE rogue, i have 5 points in MoD, i have whipserwalk boots, if I get this enchant too am I right in thinking my stealth level would be that of lvl 57? i'm sure i've worked it out wrong, that seems too good to be true...

also is there anything else i can do to improve my stealth? potions or so?

At 54, with Whisperwalk boots, 5/5 MoD, and the cloak enchant, it'll be as if your stealth is that of a level 59's.

this would work for a night elf's shadowmeld too, correct? i have a NE warrior and a main part of my arena stratagy involves shadowmeld (rogue is my partner), i only need it to be effective up to charging range, and sumtimes im spotted by perception or paranoia. is this worth it, or should i get dodge or sumthin like that?

Stealth and shadowmeld are two different abilitys I am sure this is just for stealth as the enchant says

Okay I have done this to a guild members cloak and he told me what he thought of this enchant. It basically is a PVP type enchant, nothing more. He said he can walk around in BG's and take out stealthed rogues, or at least hit first, when using this since it's harder to find him when hes stealthed now. If your a pvp player its definatly an amazing enchant but not very useful for a raiding character

What is with the different mats list? I see in the original description of of the mats required but then there are multiple posts about another set of mats.

Anyone know which set of mats is the correct one? Original set (3 small Prismatic Shards, 3 Greater Planar Essences, and 2 Fell Lotus) or the posted set (3 Nexus Crystal, 8 Large Brilliant Shards, 2 Black Lotus)?

Okay, so this sounds awesome for stealthing classes. But I have one question:

Does this bonus work for druid cat form?

I'm fairly new to the Druid class, as my main is a hunter, while my druid is still in the teens, but from what I've heard, not all equipment effects have an effect while shapeshifted. If that is true, does that mean this won't apply to the cat form?

*EDIT* What about NE Shadowmeld?

I can do this on bronzebeard horde side (see kwahimarn). Havnt done it yet since I just got it a few days ago and its quite expensive to do. I will be doing this on a guild member soon so I will give you his review of the enchant ASAP.
