I was able to get skill ups making these even though they were gray in the tradeskill window. I haven't found the cap yet but skilled up to 287 on them so far.

I followed the Enchanting powerleveling guide on the WoW forums, which says to use this to skill up from 250-270 by making 20 of them. Unfortunately, 20 of them only got me to 267. Not terrible, but perhaps the skill acquisition rate has been changed on this? I'm a lvl 44 Orc warlock with 128 int, 76 base int, if that makes any difference (maybe I'm at a relatively low level and low int for this, causing skillups to fail more frequently?). I'm level 43, so I assume your item has to be level 40 as well.

Friendly with Cenarion Circle to purchase - very easy to get this reputation up through the quests and maybe killing a couple templars and turning in the signets.

This is probably the most cost effective oil to make in terms of rarity of materials :)

When does this turn green? You also learn enchanted Leather and Enchanted Thorium at 250, but they are green to start with and turn grey at 260 (I think).

Just wondering if this is usable to skill up with.

This becomes green at 270.

Does applying the oil to 2 weapons (dual wielding hunter) means they'll stack and I'll get 16 mana / 5 sec or not?

As a lvl 42 priest I am unable to use this on my lvl 32 weapon.

My sword of omen doesnt have a level requirement on it so will it work on that or no?

NPC is Kania, upstairs in the back of the inn. In case like me you don't see her straight away.

Awesome for Hunters. Apply to each weapon and 10 mana every 5 seconds = almost no down time versus mobs 2 and 3 levels over me. Plus since I'm going all out to burn these guys down as fast as I can this really helps from running out of mana.

I asked my guild enchanter for some of this and he tried every vendor listed at www.wowhead.com/tbc to get the recipe. No joy. There are very few comments regarding weapon oils and after more research I believe that they only become available with ZG.
