only one person can loot Goggles, but they droped twice during my last MC run

just dropped off a surger, me and a hunter both looted them and loot was on master looter

It's a white item so none of the looting modes can ever affect it, whoever who has the quest can loot it. Not sure if several people can loot the same item tho.
It's pretty rare as it seems, i know some people who got their goggles in 4-5 full MC runs.
Just got mines from Ragnaros :D

does the mob that drop it drop more then one? like one for everyone who has the quest?

This is one of the quest items needed to craft the Arcanite Buoy so you can summon Jaws so you can get the scepter shard that was entrusted to Azuregos. In other words, this is part of opening the Ahn'Qiraj gates.

The droprates here are not real cause not everyone has the quest... so its actually a good drop rate.

Full MC run didnt drop once :X

We did a full MC run yesterday and they did not drop. We did get the Ragnaros page though. Since the raid reset today anyway we didn't just farm trash but killed all the bosses too. Today we're just farming trash because we need the ability to reset the dungeon, since we can't wait another week for them to drop.

For anyone on this step, the way quest items work in Classic is if you have a quest item on a mob that isn't yours to loot, the only way to see it is if that player first loots the corpse. If they don't, you can miss the item entirely. With how low the drop rate is on these goggles, and how often people just don't loot things in raids, you can use the following scripts to help.

This sets your raid's group loot threshold to include Whites, allowing you to see and roll on the quest item the moment it drops. If you are the only person on the quest line, the roll panel will only appear for you:
/script SetLootMethod("Group", "1");

This sets your raid's Masterloot threshold to include Whites, with the same principal as above. It requires the Masterlooter to be attentive, but resolves the same basic problem of needing some random person out of 40 to loot each body:
/script SetLootMethod("Master","Name","1");
