no he is not stupid.
spam ht4 ist most mana efficient with much.
i have got 568 heal and each ht4 is 900-1000 this in 2.5 for that low cast of mana (about 120) you never get oom. rejuvenation 11 ticks for 390.
i spam this for nearly 8 minutes until i am oom.

if all palas and druids spam this way. your mt is immortal.

Well with my gear a HT 10 crit does 4k heal. So when (and IF) i take HT 11 it will go over 4500 healing. So how imba should be the main tank to keep aggro? Its something like a good DPS crit for over 5k dmg (cause heal pulls more aggro than dps IMO). I think the wipe idea was pretty much true.. IMO ofc

Actually heals pull *half* the aggro of damage, they just pull it on everything. I'm not sure about the aggro of sunder and other such abilities, but lets just say, for the sake of argument: Yes. If you drop this on the MT at one sunder, you will pull aggro. He might even have to taunt. Why would you drop this on the MT that soon? You'd have to have started casting before he pulled...

Basically: If you're not pulling aggro with HT10, then you're not going to pull aggro by healing 500 more per cast. Unless you're a noob.

Why are we talking about aggro here? If a healer is pulling aggro, they're spamming something they're not supposed to at times they're not supposed to spam it. Rank 11 has nothing to do with it. By the time you are killing boss(es) in AQ20 to get this book, the only classes that will pull aggro off your tank(s) are DPS. You need at least two solid tanks for the first boss anyway, and no time for aggro pulling from DPS even. That's that, end of story.

There is NO way you should be able to take aggro from a rank 11 healing touch m8es. I use regrowth and rejuv at beginning of the fight on a tank which ticks around 600hp/3sec what with pala's and priest using flash heals keeps the tank up easy, once the tank has aggro just use your imba healing touch when needed, personally I HoT the tank and splash my healing touch rank4(2sec cast) which combined with regrowth and rejuv in 6 seconds you've put around 3-4k health points back on a tank, just personally how I do it, I never get aggro but am almost constantly healing.
btw to comment on this book which is the point, it is sweeeeeeeeet! 5k+ crit heals ftw :)

well my recors is:

"Your Healing Touch critically heals Wiggensmor for 4920."

then i have +55 healing power on my 2H-Weapon
and +24 healing poer on my bracers

have´t check yet if i can heal over that.

The base mana cost is actually 880. With 5/5 Tranquil Spirit (10% mana cost reduction), it drops to 792, as posted elsewhere.

If you're Balance specced, Moonglow 3/3 (9% mana reduction) brings it to 801 mana.

Also, Healing Touch will (supposedly) be getting a 9% base mana cost decrease, so the cost will drop further, bringing it to 801 base, 721 with TS and 729 with Moonglow.

Isn't effected by the reduced threat talent...I wouldn't use this is BWL or you get aggro very quickly

With about +800 to healing, ZG trinket activated AND a power infusion my new max heal for this Healing Touch is::: 7410

I just got this today and it said Heals a Friendly Target from 2493 to 2945

Maybe because I'm almost fully (0/5/46) resto?

how much heals for depends on talents...

i have the talents in Gift of nature for 10% bonus and it says 2493 - 2945. so multiply by 90% = 2244 - 2650 base.

Costs me 720 mana after talents to reduce mana cost 10% so 720*1.1 = 792 mana base cost.

if your interested I have +490 heals. Crit with this + ZHC is always a pretty nice number :D

I know sence I've gotten it I now crit in the mid 5k range and non crits are around 3k. My high is 5743

I just got this last night, and with 300+ healing power and full resto I landed a 4.7k crit heal. I know it can still crit heal harder than that. My average non-crits are 3.2k for 720 mana. Not a bad trade off.
