As of this patch, the 2 types of Firework Launchers DO NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY inside of major cities.
I put down 4 in SW like I have done in the past on the 4th of July and it was a waste.
None of them fired off the rockets properly. They just opened and sparked with no firework explosions at all.
Also tried inside IF to no avail. Finally used one outside and it worked. Quite a costly learning experience.
I don't know if Blizzard nerfed these on purpose or not, but it is very disappointing.

So... USE CAUTION when placing your launchers.

You use these items near Cluster Launcher to shoot them:

Red Rocket Cluster, Large Red Rocket Cluster
Blue Rocket Cluster, Large Blue Rocket Cluster
Green Rocket Cluster, Large Green Rocket Cluster
Lucky Rocket Cluster

Only an Engineer, who learned the Lunar Festival Schematics, can make them. (Except Lucky Rocket Cluster)
U can't use Cluster Launcher in cities or indoors. Firework Launcher is the smaller counterpart

this is needed if you want to use the new fireworks types without standing next to the permanent but immovable ones

Think about the quest reward rockets that come via ingame mail when you've visited an elder.

Those launchers done in an Instance like BWL / AQ before a bossfight gives your entire group a +250HP boost.

That's exactly what I was gonna do. I got the cluster rockets and the cluster launcher, and like 10 lucky rockets, I shoulda omen first so I got a lot more Lucky rockets (I got 0 elune stones from the elders in the mail after I got the lamp)

The mats aren't outrageous but can be a pain in the ass to get for a one use item that can't be used at the start of MC/BWL. Puullease. Why bother. I was seriously dissapointed.

Its worth it to actually make something for fun as opposed to just the usual grind of bordom that the game causes of doing something over and over. to have a fun purpose behind something like quality looking fireworks to show off would make my day.

how do i get the Scematic for the single 1 and cluster 1

Can only be used outside, but lasts 30 minutes, during which time *anyone* can throw a cluster rocket in it to launch it.

So, you can throw this down before outdoor instances (AQ, ZG) and bosses (Azuregos, Lethon, Kazzak, etc.), and someone with a Lucky Rocket Cluster can toss it in to give everyone +250 health for 30 minutes.

Anywhere you can use your mount you can use this. The same is true for Druids casting Entangling Roots, Warlocks casting Inferno, etc. -- there are lots of things that don't work indoors.

Was in Aq40 thinking bout this so i got some mats together made the cluster and threw it down before the boss fights leet stamina buff.

What lvl in class and/or profession do u have to be to get the quest for the schematics for the launchers

This is, being said, a Schematic you only may get during the Lunar Festival. (Lunar Festival is the chinese new-year celebration)

To get this schematic, and some other ones for small rockets, cluster rockets, large rockets, large cluster rockets and firework launcher, you must first gather some Coin of Ancestory. This is a item given by "elders". A elder is a npc that appear during Lunar Festival. They are either taurens, nightelves or dwarfs with moonlight on them, and you find them in places like the capital cities (except Exodar, Shattrath and Silvermoon). To get ALL the Lunar Festival-schematics you gotta be lvl 55 and have 35 coins. Travel to Moonglade (use the teleportals appearing in the capital cities for example) and go to Nighthaven. There, two npc's are giving revards in exchange for coins. One of them gives BLUEPRINTS (the other npc give suits). Except with the launcher-schematics, she give boxes containing rocket-schematics. For example, the "first" box give schematics for Small Red Rocket, Blue Small Rocket and Green Small Rocket. And you choose the boxes yourself, it's no random stuff with what schematics you get. The reason you gotta be lvl 55 is because it is sort of "reward" from Blizzard being high lvl. If you are lvl 10 you may get that many blueprints, if you are lvl 35 you may get some more etc. Almost all the blueprints are for Engineering except one box containing dress-patters for tailoring. The reason you need 35 coins is that each box or schematic (launchers) require 5 coins in exchange.

This one has just simply been fun for me. Not everything that's fun in the game has to do with making your character more powerful. I wish they had more stuff like this. Sometimes it's just fun to play.

Can you get all the rocket launcher schematics? and the rocket schematics with 35 ancestreal coins?

The launcher recipes are not BoP, however the rocket and cluster recipes are so make your choices carefully. I tested it by purchasing the launcher recipe on my main and sent it to my hunter and she learned them without problem. So if have a low level that needs these, just get a high level friend or your main (if you have one) to get the non-BoP recipes and send them over. Good luck and have fun :)

with the expense of the recipie I cant see to many ppl making these if their consumed.

The schematic comes from luner festival coins, you need 5 to get it, so the cost really isn't that higher for it. The parts required are alittle pricey, but its just for fun, and the occasional Lucky Rocket Cluster.
