It appears that this is only available to Alliance, as the only figurine the Horde vendor in Swamp of Sorrows has is the Black Panther figurine.

When you use the trinket a small pet will show up, just like in the picture. However the pet only stays while the trinket is active (20 sec).

If you use this trinket while in stealth it will break stealth

I've not seen this one Horde side.

The Black Pearl Panther is for Sale from Banalash (Trade Goods vendor) in Stonard, Swamp of Sorrows.

The above is correct, the actual trinkets are being sold via the Trades vendor in Dustwallow Marsh.

I play both, and since I'm a druid, could benefit from both items. First of all I would like to predict that this was an accidental implementation by Blizzard. I'm pretty sure their intention was to put in the jewelcrafting pattern, not the trinket. Second of all I would like to say a big f#%@ing GG to Blizzard for giving alliance two, and only one for the horde......times like these I wish I played a night elf....then I wake, screaming from the nightmare, grabbing my crotch and dancing like an idiot....... AS IF PLAY NIGHT ELF! :D

It's Still for sale as of a few days ago as i wondered onto them so i purchased both not knowing what they were. the Black Panther seems ot be good for rogues

The Horde Side getss the pattern to craft it from a vendor in Grom'gol. Consequently that means it'll only be accessible to horde jewelcrafters since figurines are all BoP.

The Figurine is in limited suply, however the respawn timer in December of 2006 is only 3 to 5 minutes. Given that most items that are limited have a much longer timer I expect this low timer may change.

Alliance Side - The Trade Supplies Vendor in Theramore sells this and the Figurine:Black Pearl Panther. She is in the building with the Master Tailor Trainer.

As said, purchased this along with the Black Pearl Panther figurine thing just to check them out. The buff really doesn't do much unless duelling a warrior or another rogue that is a level higher or something, as the 5 defense for a rogue really just makes it harder for that person to crit or hit you.

Not sure, but try going to the places (other than the ones in theramore) that are shown on the map above (the one with the link).

I camped the vendor for one hour. No one else went near the vendor during that time. I didn't see it respawn a single time during that time.

I met someone who had bought these from the vendor in
theramore. It was a glitch, and she has been properly fixed to sell the plans, not the actuale item. Too late for me to buy one :(

Nerrist (Trade Goods vendor) at Grom'gol has the design for purchase by horde characters. It is limited supply though and I don't know what the cooldown is.

What good is a pattern usable only by a Jewelcrafter that creates a BOP trinket? It looks like the mats cost way more than the player can ever sell the trinket for to a vendor, and might even cost more in mats than the trinket is worth for personal use Can someone explain this to me? I just bought both plans (crab and panther) and hope some noob buys them before they figure this out. <sigh>

Watching the stas on this little friend I think any class can use it especially in PvP.As a lock I don't have much life points *sigh* Rogues piss me off with the cheapshots,maybe this will help againts hunters and warriors...
