Great that more casual/PvP orientated warlocks will now be able to fit some more of those pesky shards into their packs!

Yes, this bag isn't just pulled out of your pocket, but considering how difficult the current 28 slog bag is to make, esp with the raid materials, this bag is damn easy to make.

If your server's economy is anything like bronzebeard's, the core felcloth bag is actually cheaper to make... bloodvine, core leather, and felcloth aren't used for much anymore, so guild banks and others on the AH are practically giving them away to make space for new things.

The mats for this bag took me a total of 3 hours to farm, the rest of the time was just waiting for cooldowns that guildies had and weren't useing. This is by far a very easy bag to make and got it all put together in 4 days total.

The fact that the other 28 slot recipe isn't just bought from a vendor but is from an out dated instance that my guild hasn't ran in over a year. Many people would charge you alot more to craft this bag because it is far more rare.

I have seen crafter fee's of up to 100g for the Core Felcloth Bag, this one is practicly free since just about everyone has it.

I love this bag for prolonged Arena action. I fight mainly on a 2-man team and it is very easy to blow through a couple shards from Shadowburn in a single fight. I didn't join a big raiding guild pre-TBC so I didn't have access to the core felcloth bag materials for a reasonable price.

Getting to 375 tailoring isn't too bad and the mats for this bag aren't terribly expensive either. I would say the fastest way to get this bag made is to make all 3 types of the specialty cloths and then trade with other people to get the shadowcloth. I'm certain there will be people willing to trade spellcloth for shadowcloth. I save my primal mooncloth for the 20-slot bags.

Trading your spellcloth for shadowcloth can save you a few days of crafting time without spending too much extra cash

I just bought one for 170g while the price for shadowcloth is 45g on my server.Please tailors,watch out your prices cause you may loose gold instead of making by selling these at such prices.

The only thing hard about this is the actual making of shadoweave. If you are/have an alt/have a willing guildie whose a shadowcloth specialist, its just:

3 stacks of netherweave
6 arcane dust (2 or 3 greens to disenchant, most tailors are enchanters anyways)
3 primal shadow (easy and cheap to farm)
3 primal fire (not quite as easy as shadow, but if you have a miner or can farm elemental plateau, no trouble)
4 netherweb silk (easier still to get. a couple minutes in terrokar, or if its being farmed, you could reset regular BM and just farm the level 67 spiders.)

Heck, I think I'm gonna toss the mats to my lock and get that taken care of over the next 2 weeks. I've already gotten all of the raw mats without even trying.

Simply worhtless... I'm using 20-slot bags, which are more expensive but those are more usefull than these... I always carry 20 shards in one of the bags, and if i need more space while farming/buying, simply destroy shards and put items.
PS.Someone said Shadowcloth x6 costs 300g... Which realm are you on? Its 30-35(40 TOP) gold at Twilight's Hammer...
PPS. Its not that hard to do soul drain at 5% of trash mobs in Instances if you realy need more shards...

Since the BC came out I think not to many players going to Molten Core or Zul'Gurub so this bag a little easier to get than Core Felcloth Bag.

This bag is a must have for any lock. Depending on your spec though this can become more helpful. As a 7/43/11 spec lock i found this bag was a must have. Shadowburn if spammed enough can chew threw your soul shards in a matter of minutes. This bag is cheap to make and is well worth every penny.

The felcloth soul bag holds 24; the pattern for it is found in the Scholomance basement, after you kill one of the Borovs. If you compare the effort it will take to make either, the shadowcloth bag is less practical.
Unless one burns through shards constantly, it would be more efficient to just make the felcloth bag, and hold on to any extra shards you might need.
There are better things to make with shadowcloth (and Primals for that matter), like the epic gear.

there is a shadow tailor in shatt that sells the pattern.
unless you like farming mats and you are a shadow tailor i would not bother getting this pattern. it is a pain to make for others unless you are a shadow tailor.

The cost of components listed is way off from most servers economies. Shadowcloth runs around 40g. Multiplied by 6 that's 240g right there plus another 12g at least for the netherweb.

why would u need 28 soul shards. at 70 my lock rarely has 4.

I understand you can only have one equiped at a time, but I keep an overbaring amount of shards in my bank. It would be great if I could throw shards into 1,2,3,4 even full bank slots with bags for shards that would be sick, farm nonstop for a day and have hundreds of shards. Sorry if this is a stupid question, I'm a shard !@#$%, and the kind of person that likes to do things in a straight order.

Since this is cheaper than core felcloth bag (or at least will be when servers have a resonable population of 70's) it will probably replace it entirely :( sniff goodbye core felcloth bag

Umm, having a stat on it would be a good idea, espcially a health/5 sec stat. For the person who said getting stats on bags is stupid look at hunters and their quivers. They increase their ranged attack speed by 15% for a lvl 45 quiver. Therefore a lvl 70 soulbag having +7 health/5 seconds isnt as ridiculous.

6 shadowcloth is like 350 gold on my server (meaning I can sell for ~ 50 - 75 gold each on AH).

Considering the amount of Netherweave cloth and other items this bag req. and amount of time. This bag is pretty expensive.

How much would you ask for this bag at AH?

And how about a fee for crafting it, if people bring the mats?

After all one did spend a lot of time and money getting tailoring to max.

Pls. give your honest opinion and pros and cons.

on my server (genjuros), these prices for the bag and its mats are current:

shadowcloth 70-80g each
the spider silk is 5g each

so adding up the mats is 75*6+5*4=450+20=470g for just the mats.

thinking about this, they will probably ask 450-500g for the bag

if the want to spend a long time getting it:
shadowcloth requires:
1 primal fire / 1 primal shadow
18 netherweave / 6 arcane dust
add up a crafting fee of about 30g, you will end up paying more

my advise: keep your 24 slot soulbag and when you are raiding just cast drain soul some more to save yourself 500g

ima 70 belf lock

i have full frozen shadoweave and i just got this bag. I burn through crazy amounts of shards in pvp with shadowburn so this bag really helps out. I try to load it up before every big pvp or raid night.

If you can make it yourself, go for it, if you cant dont worry about it.

i think u should charge ppl about 500g for this bag because of how long it takes to make the god dam shadowcloth. you can make 1 every 96 HOURS. that seems like a long time to make a bag that takes 6 of these plus all the mats that u will need to make this bag and the shadowcloth. so going through all that work is probably equal to about 500+ gold

I am a lvl 70 lock that just got this bag. A guild member made the shadowcloth for me over the course of 12 days. If you are a shadowcloth tailor, you make 2 pieces each time. I LOVE this bag, esp for instances/raids. Sometimes you just can't get the Drain Soul up before the targets dies, esp if you have fast DPS already on the target.

As for the price, I ground out most mats myself while doing quests in NS and Nagrand. I only bought the Spider Silk. Mats only took me a couple days to get, and the bag 2 weeks to get. Worth the wait in my opinion.

You dont need to be lvl 70 to use this. I got it on my lvl 48 lock.

Tailors, don't bother making these for the AH. I tried this and found that with continuous postings on the AH for about a month it didn't even get a bid -close- to the price of mats. I eventually sold it for 170, quite a bit less than the 300 it took to make it (although I farmed for all the stuff). Save your money- just sell the shadowcloth instead. If someone asks for one of these in trade, make one then, but not before.

I really didn't feel all that bad for the price I sold it at. 144g made, I always farm for my shadow cloth and on my server I think 2bolts of shadowcloth go for 20-30g, so I really didn't lose much. Farming netherweb spider silk is easy for me so with that money I now have over 1k gold!

I know I couldn't have my 28slot and 20 slot soul shard bag equiped at the same time, can you only have I soul shard bag equipped or 1 type?

Any1 tried equiping 2 28 slot bags?
