Yeah, found it about the same spot, real easy to kill him, just a 60 mob

He was right at that location, level 60 normal mob. He's in a pool of lava with some of the imps running around him. I was able to solo him without them coming along when I pulled him.

I have the quest (A Portable Power Source) killed him 33 times and he's not dropped the magma core
I don't understand why :-(

Bokk is just en elemental south of the enterence 2 burning steppes from blackrock.

The guy was exactly at that point, easy to solo as long as you dont agro any of the elite dragons near by, and dropped the magma core first kill. Thanks,

got it no problem my first kill, just has an annoying knockback and stun which makes it hard bein a caster and all. hardly worth the flight out there

It took me five kills, but it was easy to kill him, plus he re-poped pretty fast.

this one so easy everyone can solo it if items not drop do this :

1 check if your in raid
2 relog
3 get q again
4 ONYL LAST ask GM!

As a fire specked squishy Mage he gave me some trouble. After two deaths I called in the troops. Easy kill with some help. I'm sure he's soloable for most other classes.

36,56. Magma core dropped on first try. Frost spec'd. He hits very hard, had to use one health pot. He has a bunch of imps next to him, but they don't aggro. At least, they didn't with range

How to kill as a Hunter:

1)Set a freeze trap just within the farthest range you can shoot him from
2)Aimed shot pull
3)Concussive shot to slow him down
4)Multi-shot for more damage than a regular shot
5)If everything up until this point worked fine, you should have time for an arcane shot
6)Repeat step 2 through 4
7)Wing clip and run through him (behind)
8)Arcane shot
9)Concussive shot
10)Normal auto-shot
11)Repeat steps 7 through 10 indefinately until youre out of mana or he is dead

If youre not marksman specced use arcane instead of aimed for pulling.

I only got hit twice during fighting him using this method.

If you use your pet on this it will most likely end up dieing.

Or if you're lazy just get a bunch of epiced warlocks and gank the other guy thats trying to do this quest and then tell them to take care of it.. just like that one Alli did to me :)

I just killed him. He hits hard but evasion solves the matter.

2) Charge + Berserker Stance + Reck
3) Mortal Strike (gtfo fury)jk
5) Execute

Don't worry about health, should only get a few hits on you.

P.S. If a mob isn't dropping a quest item for you, leave your raid...

Just killed him. 59 lock. Sent in VW, my 3 dots, 2 shadowbolts and a conflagerate. Never got hit. Berry barely took damage. No one was around or anything. Easiest part of this whole chain.

He was critting my mage for 600+ nature damge. I reccomend some greater nature protect potions.

This guy was a LITTLE bit harder than a normal mob, but not much. As a caster (60 priest) he was kinda annoying because of the knockback and spell interrupts he kept doing. I finished the fight with ~90% health and ~60% mana, though. Definitely soloable.

Took me about 10 tries before it dropped. Tip for warriors is to build rage on the neighboring mobs before you charge into this one with full rage. Not necessary, but definitely safer.

60 warrior. Easy fight, only blasted me once for about 650 damage.

this guy is easyer than the main boss in wallering caverns! the only dmg he took on me was gis shock that did 600dmg...

Ok guys, this is pathetic, I had to create an account on here just to laugh at the people that died... especially mages.... I solo'd him without loosing 1 HP.....
1) Ice Barrier
2) Frost Bolt
3) Frost Bolt
4) Frost Bolt
5) Frost Bolt
6) Frost Nova
7) Frost Bolt
8) Dead ... Life left 100%

Yeah, he has like 4k hp... and his little pal doesn't pull. The only annoying thing is the knockback thing that disrupts casting.

There was also a 53elite dragon patroling around him... don't know what that's about.
