A perfect use for this is against any self-rezzers, such as the final Ring of Blood fight Ring of Blood: The Final Challenge. The Elite in that fight will self-rez to full health after dying, but if a Rogue has 5-stacked Wound Poison on him he'll only rez to 50% health. Considering he has 60,000 health, that's the equivalent of 30,000 damage just from using poison.
