Does it only hold enchanting supplies like dust and shards or anything? (I'm guessing supplies only but you never know)

Probably the best bang for the buck in regards to enchanting bags. It costs me about 5g on my server to get it, and you'll be fine on space until you become a seriously heavy enchanter.

as above post said, this is all you really need, any more mats you get put in bank or send to an alt

At the current price of 16 & 18 slot bags, I'd forego any special limited bags and just get big bags you can store anything in. I usually have enough gold without using an alt by level 16-20 to buy 4 big bags anyway, then I fill in my bank as I need them. I have never had to want for space.

The up side of these 'special' bags is that if you disenchant something it goes straight to this bag, keeping your bags alot more organized.

Would anyone be kind enough to share which vendor/vendors sell these patterns, there is no way I'm paying the auction price for it because I know it's sold for less then 2 gold at NPC price.

You can also buy this pattern from the enchanting supplier in Stormwind City. The supplier is in the canals of the Mage District. The pattern for ths is selling right now in the AH of Draka Realm (alliance) for anywhere between 6 and 10g and you can BUY it from the supplier for 60 silver! Don't get ripped off!

Any enchanting supplier in a major city sells this pattern in unlimited quantity.

The 20 slot enchanting pouch pattern is sold by a merchant in Silithus (not sure if it's unlimited quantity or not). It requires no faction to buy but is a bit of a hairy journey for an underleveled character.

The 24 slot enchanting pouch pattern is a drop off a boss in Dire Maul.

The herb bag seller is in Ironforge in the central area in the herbalist store for i think like 2g. On uther it sells for like 13g on Ah so DONT BUY IT OFF AH!

Btw...What do these bags do? The enchanted ones?
Do they just hold enchanting supplies?

You can find the receipe at the vendor in the silverspin wood.
South of the map, when the road makes a turn to the east, turn to the west, you 'll see a passage through the mountain, the vendor is there...

I bought the pattern from the supply vendor in the enchanting shop in IF (near the gryph).

I made the bag and now it wants to bind itself to me, if I provide space for it to be equipped :-/

There were slots in my bags, so I am assuming it wants me to remove one of my 16 slot bags. So, I have to ask: what is the point of swapping a 16 slot general bag, that can carry anything, for a 16 slot bag that will only take enchanting stuff...

Maybe I have missed a vital piece of information about these enchanting bags...

Any enlightening information would be sincerely appreciated :)

making this bag costs around 5g, a 16 sot costs
around 18g on frostwhisper (around 5 if u can make mooncloth) and low lvls whitout an main usualy doesent have 16 sloters

Is this able to contain the Smoking Heart of the Mountain? It's not very important in that case but I want to know if the new engineering bag can contain reagent/tools AND trinkets/mind control cap ect...

Herb bag is also available in darnassus from supplier by the herbalist trainer.

As for the enchanters bags I thought 2 gold was a steal at the AH when I bought 2 for my level 30 tailer/enchanter. Tailoring was only up to 10 slot bags about to be 12 and bags arent cheap. I am seriously building the enchanting and the supplies were eating up bag and bank slots. I had checked auction house for awhile and they werent even available. Now at least I know where the vendor is but Gadgetzan isnt the easiest place to get to and no low level characters will be there anytime soon.

PS if your serious about enchanting and its only your first or second character in the game then you ought to know they will be poor for awhile until enchanting is built up!

One thing I have learned to build the enchanting is to sell the auction items with enchants in place...

Go get Receipe Radar mod so you dont have to wander around looking for receipes. Also School mod will assist for this as well. I use both.
