Despite the drop percentages listed here, the tainted meat drops off every Helboar you kill while you have the quest. The conversion of tainted meat to purified meat seems to be around 50/50.

Yea just kill the Starving Helboars. I killed the deranged and they dropped likt crap.

so far 3/12 - Purified, rest toxic.

Best dropped from Starving Helboar, like 80% dropchance for me.

This is used for the quest " Helboard, the Other White Meat" (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/quest=9361/helboar-the-other-white-meat) from one of the goblins at the zeplin crash.

You can garantee a purified meat by filling up your inventory. Using the item if your inventory is full doesn't use the meat. You can stack your inventory leaving only a slot for purified meats and then spam purify and only get purified meat.
