Outstanding Main-Hand weapon for a Fury Warrior. Slow, very high top-end, lots of attack power (add a +20 strength enchant for 90 AP.)

I have half the mats required to make this -- it will go very nicely with my Fireguard (+5 Weapon Dmg Enchant.) Fireguard is high dps and fast for the OffHand and Runic Hammer will be great for the Main Hand Heroic Strike etc.

I'd consider this to be the best crafted boe for enhancement-shamans. The speed isn't quite high enough to get the best benefit from Windfury, but the dps and boost to AP for SR makes up for it.

And you don't even have to pick up blacksmithing to get it, which is a plus.

Wow... I have to agree. This is simply the best BoE 1H for an Enchancement Shaman/Fury War/Combat Rogue.
Hands down, the matts may be a little expensive, but atleast you dont need to be a blacksmith to get it. Truely Awsome

I think you meant to say its still at 2 Primal Nethers. ALL plans in the final push did not have their nether requirements changed, but are still left with a few mats switched around. Thats why wowhead has not reported the change either. Its confusing.

werry nice mace indeed. nice and slow good top end...

the problem is getting it crafted! iw grinded the primals and bought the bars.....now i have be trying to find a blacksmith that can make it and has the primal nethers. Pretty anoing...

Other than one of the Merciless Gladiator One-handers, this is the best shaman off-hand weapon prior to at least the Eye.

I'm a blacksmith with this recipe on Emeriss. While I used to be able to sell my hammers right away, noone wants them anymore because of the expensive mats and how easy it is to obtain arena gear :(

Well, today is patch day in Europe (23rd of May 2007), and I would like to know if someone on Skullcrusher Horde side is able to cook me TWO of these babies. My rogue would use them wisely - honest!

This mace really shines. I personnally am a dual weilder 31/30 DPS warrior. I decided to dual weild, and i can say that during instances it really does make a difference. I put this one in my main hand (mongoose enchant), and the vindicators sword (aldor reward, enchanted with major striking +7 damage)on the off-hand. One thing is for sure, mongoose procs almost 3 times a minute, which i find that's completely awesome, and my mortal strike crits go over 1.5k. I know it doesnt seem much, but this is unbuffed, and with no death wish or enrage. Dual weilding 31/30 spec with heavy weapons is better than 2 handed weapons for sure. I made the difference between these 2 and my khorium champion. If you want big number crits, go with runic hammer, because its waaaay better for MS than felsteel-longblade or fel-edged battleaxe. Is this wep any good for a MH for shaman? I already got Merciless Gladiators Left Ripper in OH.. I was thinking that 2.40 in speed might be a little to fast for a MH.

Enhancement shamans, do not fret! This is not as hard to make as you think. Starting from scratch with around 50 gold, I collected all of the materials for this mace within a period of 12 hours. I recieved a mote here and there from friends, but the only really big bit of help i recieved was that a miner in my guild mailed me the 10 Khorium Bars he had left over. Yes, I did get the bars forged and all 8 primal mights transmuted in this period as well.

I still need to farm 450g to pay for the nethers, however these mats are very easy to gather. Just farm all the primals and buy the ore. The khorium will set you back a bit, but not anything you can't make up for with an hour of farming or doing some daily quests.

Surgerz, good points.... it may be different - even if you look at elitist jerks, +hit is more important for rogues. For PVE anyway. You really want to hit those 73 elites with your OH - especially as a combat spec (unless you're mutilate, most pve rogues are), so that combat potency procs. DW spec allows significant dps to be done in the OH and the potency adds much needed energy, so losing the +hit means you must make it up elsewhere. I recently added a second wastewalke piece and some other +hit gear and went from 133 +hit to 190 +hit in a week. I saw very dramatic increases in dps even though I lost 20ap and 1.5% crit.
OTOH, if you intend to go maces, this isnt bad... if you can't stomach the thought of taking up BS. The crafted mace is vastly superior, particularly by Tier 2.
Fury wars seem to really like it, as I have nethers in my bank that are spoken for as soon as I can buy the recipe by several fury wars that are friends/guildies.

Oh, forgot to also say that it interests me how much prices vary server to server. I just saw a post where someone claimed to get the 10 felsteel/khorium, and 8 primal mights for 700g. This would never happen on my server, where these mats would be over 1000g. Nethers, however, are cheap. Depending on the recipe (for Dirge for example), nethers range from 50g each to 150g each, but I've never seen them go for 200g. For anyone who misunderstands, I'm calculating this on a per-Nether charge for crafting (I know they're bop - I've farmed over 20 myself).

When patch 2.3 drops you'll see many fury Warriors wanting slow/slow mh/oh weapons due to the WW buff. This is a good choice if you dont need the hit rating from the Axe or you use the Human racial.

I am a 70 shaman (enhancement) i would LOVE to have this. atm i have the 10 felsteel and 10 khorium but the primal mights are a pain to get. So ever sunce they kinda nerfed WF with the 3 sec cd this would be great as MH and OH, and i would kill to have this :) and the nethers are free i just gotta help a guildie of mine get them.

Lovely weapon I just bought for my enhancement shaman. I bought the Primal Might on auction house for 75g a piece. being a miner/engineer, the felsteel and khorium weren't really a problem and were already on my bank. For the nethers and the crafting, I had to pay 450g though (Bronze Dragonflight, alliance).

Now I want to dual-wield these. Farming the materials is surprisingly easy when you're a miner/engineer. I get a load of motes from the various gasclouds in Nagrand/Netherstorm. Also, the various elementals that drop motes of xxx are very easy to kill with an enhancement shaman. Took me one day to get the mats for 8 x primal might, and I haven't been farming constantly the whole day. The final thing I need is another 450 for the nether/craft. Found out that the Adamantite Scopes sell really well. Earned about 200 in one day by selling these.

Can't wait to dual-wield these. In my opinion the best choice pre-Kara if you hate PvP as much as I do. They look nice and shiny too. :)
