I've used this a few times now and it seems you can only get three things from it; Stouthammer Lite (restores mana at a mediocre rate), Aerie Peak Pale Ale (strong alcoholic beverage), and Loch Modan Lager (extremely strong alcoholic beverage).

1 hour cooldown is terrible stuff. This would make a good RP hat otherwise. I think perhaps if they removed stouthammer lite's mana regen properties, and made it so only alcohol (unsellable alcohol, too) was produced, they could remove the cooldown, or make it considerably shorter, one minute, for example.

Note also that all drinks it create are soulbound, but do not disappear after logging out.

in my opinion, one of the most pointless hats ever :P i dont see the point of drinking in the game.. and the mana drink it gives you is completely useless relative to your level, and the 1 hr cooldown sucks, so this is quite useless... unless you really want money and every hour you reach into it to vendor the drink >.< but i hope for your sake yuoure not that desperate for copper.. kinda crappy reward

Picked it up tonight...I'm a fan of the pimp hats on my NE Priest, so this was a nice surprise.

So far two Stouthammer Lite (2934 Mana) and one Loch Modan Lager, an "extremely potent alcoholic beverage". The grind for the Mag'har beads was a little more entertaining after I popped the Lager. It would be nice if the mana boost was slightly higher..but free is free. One should save at least one or two gold on your mana budget every play session.

Out of 14 uses since obtaining the hat, I have received the following:

4 x Loch Modan Lager
4 x Aerie Peak Pale Ale
6 x Stouthammer Lite

Free mana, whenever you can remember to use the hat.. :)

you can make "unlimited" gold with this. one drink sells for 2 silver and you can create a drink once a hour.

so if you have an afk macro that also uses this hat every 60 min, you get 48 silver a day by doing nothing. :P

Yeah, the hat can make Stouthammer Lite (vendors for 2s), but it also can make Aerie Peak Pale Ale (85c vendor trash price, a "strong alcoholic beverage") or Loch Modan Lager (no sell price, an "extremely potent alcoholic beverage"). It's a fun item to keep around when you decide you could really use a drink...

Definitely not useless. I've kept this thing and used it every time the CD's been up and now I have close to 80 of all three kinds of beer it gives you sitting in my bank. Free booze every hour!

Funny little hat... Would be much nicer if the cooldown was every 15 minutes though. As a mage, I can't see myself wearing it, even though it has nice spell dmg bonus.

I just keep mine on me and use it whenever it`s up.

Two of the drinks have a vendor sell value... and after a while, it adds up. ;)

By this point I`ve probably made at least 10g... not a whole lot, sure, but free money is always great.

I often refer to this as my Boozehat or my Moneyhat.

I think that this is by far the best novelty hat in game ATM. I mean its cloth so everyone can use it, and free beer! That is worth the quest as is, without the xp and gold :D Think about it, when doing Durnhold, and you go "Gosh, anyone have some Stouthammer Lite?" "Fresh out bro." "Dang." so you whoop out the ol' drankin' hat and pull out some booze! This is especially awesome during the much coveted BREWFEST!

Ive rolled alliance most the time and have this hat on all my outland characters, I was just wondering if there is a horde equivalent for this hat or if only alliance can get free booze because I am playing a horde on a different server now after becoming bored doing alliance so much?
