This quest was designed by someone who didn't use his head. By the time this quest turns yellow in your quest log, you will still have to fight 3 enemies of your own level at once in order to complete it. It should either be group-marked or raised in level to be more suitable for the average player.

(55,23) there is a box at the top of the tower. Mark of the Lightbringer is in that box.

Yea its also gaurded by a 57 and 3 56 casters.. i died in like 4.5 seconds lol

Did as a 57 Shadow Priest, pulled the mobs around the base, and killed them. there are 2 casters in the bottow room of a tower u can pull outside. Killed them. There was a 63 Elite Rare spawn with 7k HP in the same room. I ran in and feared him. Ran to the top of the tower. Waited for my fear to come off CD while I aggrod the three mobs at the top, and feared them. Shielded and grabbed the Mark out of the box then jumped off the tower. Ran away. Done.

Mark of the Lightbringer is in a chest, called a Holy Coffer at the very top of the tower at 55,24. At the top, there are three(3) Scarlet Spellbinder's and Cavalier Durgen.

This quest was very easy for a level 57 frost mage. There aren't any elite's around, so, it's very soloable. Especially now that frost mages have their water elemental. =)

Again, the coffer that the mark is found in is at tloc 55,24 at the very top of the tower.

In the bottom of the tower is a lvl 63 elite (at least was for me). You might want to bring friends along for him.

it drps from the box on the top of the tower where u guys mentioned, the tower is often farmed caues thats where enchant crusader drops, so you can walk in and solo it very easy alliance or hord,

the elite u spoke of is a different quest, its more of a event that occures, like crusader pat going in to tyres hand then the big 62E comes out, the E is hard to kill here best to wait for the event to finish the alliance hero normally comes out and wacks the E off,

also u can only turn in this line at the FP, but if he not there dont worry he pats to the grave to pay respects

I had the quest, I prowled up to the top, killed the three frost mages up there. But the box was not anything I could activate. Anyone see this problem?

Hi peeps i got this quest but i cant open the box at the top of the tower . can sombody tell me wat do i do wrong ?

Easy one for rogues.

- Stealth up to the top and wait for the elite to walk back down the tower out of range.
- Standing on the edge of the tower by the box sap the closest NPC and loot the box. I stood on the left side (as you come up the stairs) You should be able to loot from the edge without pulling the other NPC's.
- When you have it, jump down to the outside, lower part of the tower, you will take damage and it will knock you out of stealth. Also watch out for the patrol that walks around the outer part of the tower.

i soled as 57 hunter, no elite. just a #$%^load of guards all the way up, luckily some1 else was afterit and i waited for them to get aggro then opened, jumpt down and died, ressed at bulwark

just kill some mobs, then run to stairs and climb it, halfway up just fd. kill the boss when he walks down, then let your pet atk 1 and let another mage walk into your freezing trap and u should be able to loot the chest if you sent ur pet in first. then just dump down and fd

It took me two tries with my lv 56 mage but i did by myself. First i fought to the inside of the tower. i waited til the boss came down by himself. after him, I ice shielded myself, polimorphed one, counterspelled the other and worked one the last one. it should be easy after that.

but always be prepared. have at least a health pot and a heavy runecloth if something happens.

i sure every other class has a good plan too.

I am a paladin and quest like these i usually make my self immune and loot whatever it is, you CAN NOT loot this chest while immune, so I would suggest bringing a party with you if you are a lower level (mid 50s). If you are a frost mage or a rouge your lucky cuz you can do this the cheap way.

yeah the box, i cant open but a Undead rogue that was also there opened it up right in front of me!

I'm a 56 rogue, killed everyone in the tower which took a bit of doing, but then found out that i couldn't open the box. In fact i couldn't even click on it. Anyone know how to fix this?

First stage, getting the Mark from the chest/coffer .... The tower in question is WAY before the road reaches the gates of Hearthglen. It is on the Right Hand Side of road as you ride north.
