I think the latest downtime on 7/3/07 might have fixed the spawning problem... since we were able to get it(on Gurubashi-US Horde side).

The Mystic Dawnstone recipe is 12g and BOP, and it is sold by the Blade Merchant. It is not clear what triggers the spawn, but as I recently obtained it during the middle of us controlling Halaa, I would have to guess that it spawns once every hour or so rather than when control switches to another team.

It's a great gem, but I wouldn't expect it to be very expensive as at the moment the recipe seems pretty easy to obtain. If you see extravagant prices for them on the auction house right now, I would wait for the rest of the jewelcrafters to get the recipe rather than blowing your money on an overpriced gem.

I just bought the design in Halaa. It was sold by the blade merchant for 12g. Limited supply (1). It spawned right after we capped Halaa.

This design is not active on european server yet per. 05/07-07.

But when it comes; it spawns every 1 hour, and not every time you capture halaa. Price is 12g and is sold by the Blade merchant, on each faction.

Ya you get it from halaa i got it today so ima see what i can get for the gem ive heard its having problems spawning in the vendor but i saw horde took halaa on my server so i figured id check it out and there it was so its there i just dunno if its bugged or u gotta wait.

Read the patch notes for 6/19. "A recipe for a superior resilience gem has been added and is rumored to be held by the residents of Halaa."

We checked out the new Resilience gem, it is in game, but the spawn conditions seem to be making it very unlikely to spawn on the vendor. This is going to be changed in a future patch to assure that it spawns often enough for people to get in a reasonable amount of time. - Hortus

Hmz... Been there 9 Times after capturing Halaa never seen the recipie ,never heart anyone take it... Can you give more details like who exactly sells it and if it can spawn while halaa is captured?

So far it doesn't exist I think. We captured Halaa once today and held it for almost an hour, then lost it - no gem during this..
So after 15 mins, formed huge raid, got Halaa back and had patrols, and people hanging around rotating to sound alarm when alliance is coming back for it :)
Sad news.. we held it from 15:00 till 21:50 and still holding it, but no pattern on any npc so far.. Have to wait for fix it seems.

Took my entire guild and held halaa for 11 hours and we took rotations holding it from 11 pm till 9 am the following morning. The pattern did not spawn on any of the vendors. We paged a GM and he told us that we should wait until a further patch or check back on tuesday right at server restart to see if the gem is obtainable. But at this time he had no further information and that he would recommend that we waited until server restart.

Now this told me that the gem might be a weekly spawn at server restart or a hotfix will be implimented ot allow a limited quantity to spawn each week of the gem.

Act two we are camping the vendor when the alliance have control and killing off the vendor every 5 minutes on its respawn timer to see if he might randomly drop it so far two hours have passed and no drop other then a few silver...

Good luck getting this... We will be the first on our server to obtain it if its in the game besides my guild is a PVP guild and we love the pvp...

Has anyone tried buying the Elixir at the place and then waiting a while to see if that the pattern for the gem drops. It could be that there can be only one type of recipe.

The blade merchant sells 1 of this recipe when he respawns after your faction takes over Halaa. No research or battle tokens needed. 12g if I recall correctly.

Just picked up this pattern in Halaa from the Blade Merchant, cost 12g.

anyone have an idea on how much each mystic dawnstone should sell for? i dont think anyone on the server has it yet, so I'm hoping to be able to get make a good profit off this since it's still pretty rare.

Are you guys from US or Europe?
I'm from Europe and camped the recipe for the last two days and it doesn't respawns. Also there is not mention of it on the european Armory site, only on the US one.

4:00 AM:
I headed to Halaa just to check it out.
Bought the rare quality +8 Str Gem that spawns.

4:05 AM:
After flying around scouting for horde I checked again, no spawn

4:15 AM:
Gave it a bit more time and searched for more Horde around the area, checked the NPC and the recipe SPAWNED!

My theory: I may have increased the chance of it spawning by buying the rare quality gem. Of course I may have just got lucky and showed up at the right time.

Nah I bought the +str rare gem several times few days ago, the recipe for mystic dawnstone did not spawn for hours. Don't think they are connected tbh.

However my EU server was downed yesterday for couple hours, when up again the recipe was there! Guess what, it's spawned yesterday in about 1hr intervals, cause friends where camping there after I got my server first :P

Conclusion: Bit too easy to get now, hehe!

went out to halaa with 4 friends we took 90 mins to get the halaa into alliance control soon it was vendor spawned and i ran over and it was there 12G and got it first try now seeing how good this gem sells put one up for 40g will keep posted if it sells ok

geez, it's not that hard to get people :P

i go to halaa all the time for the d/e vendor, and see it up there a lot :P

if you cant find it, just get in a routine of flying there every once in a while to see if it's up

This pattern is limited(1) and can be bought from Hoard Vendor named Coreiel (Blade Merchant) at 42,42 (out side the building) in Halaa. Spawn rate is about an hour (or I was just luck).
