The droprates are a lot higher than listed, got mine in about 10 kills.

The drop rate must have changed as of the latest patch, (although the above poster says it was after) as I had to kill a total of 47 of both of the different bugs to get the 6 Marshlight Bleeder Venom...

I'd say the listed drop rates are about accurate. I concur with Toohey. Its not a horrible drop rate. Took me a decent amount of kills, but not so much to lose my mind (unlike Hecular's rod...)

fluctuating drop rate. i got 4 from 4, but then ended up killing a further 11 to get the reamaining 2. very frustrating and boring, and slow respawn times, and few respawn places for the stingers that drop them. but quest is worth doing, theyre kinda easy to kill <3

Follow the edge of Marshlight Lake all the way around - the drop rate is low for the venom - 15 killed before i got my first of six venoms.

This is a melee mob that Rends and casts Vibrant Blood debuff

+20% to cast time

+10% dmg done

killing the Fenglow stinger's at 13,45 i have got a way better drop rate then from killing the normal marshlight ones

Don't bother with this quest unless u want to waste your time or your very lucky.

This quest sucks its not worth it at all it takes forever to do but if u do decide to do you are best of going to 16,42

Or those of u with no cords

Actually, the drop rate is great.

One catch though. If it doesn't say "Marshlight Lake" above your minimap, you're wasting your time. I just had to pull the marshlight bleeders toward the lake a bit, and each one dropped venom.

Drop fro mthe Fenglow Stingers is near 100% for me, instead of 1 Vial of about 10 kills of breeders. So, better kill Fenglow Flies :)

if u go to marsh lake north of it find marshlight bleeder and kill u get all the drops.If you dont u wil get 1 for like a every 2 kills so if i were you go there.

I think these drop faster on Wednesdays than other days of the week. I finished this quest while watching Fresh Prince, before the episode was over on a Wednesday. It took 2 episodes of Cosby show and 1 of Night Court on a Friday to finish this quest for my alt on Garona.

the southwest (bottom left) corner of the lake was pretty good for me.... about 3 kills per drop

At first i thought the idea of pulling em to the water side was kinda ridiculous, but i tried. When i pulled em to the waterside they dropped 1 in 2 and few yards on land there dropped none. So i would say it works. :P

This is bull!@#$, ive got 5/6 and the past 55 kills not one has dropped, and yes i pulled them into the water...

Oh, yeah, totally... you have to drag them to the lake, interupt their spell, and then don't kill them until they cast it again. Don't use any spells that start with "S" if you're playing on Saturday or Sunday. If they spin around 3 times to the left while fighting them, you have to spin 3 times to the right before killing them. You have to eat/drink ONLY after each third one, and make sure you have x6 in your bag and distroy one after each drop!

BS! It's just a random low drop rate item! Because it's a low drop rate, it'll take a while. Because it's random, you'll go through streaks of getting them and not getting them. That's all.

my drop rate was really good... i killed 10 Marshlight bleeder for get my 6 venoms.(the 5 first marshlight bleeder have drop an venoms each)

If the drop rate for Marshlight Bleeder is low, try Fenglow Stinger. I did and I got the venom faster. :)

Drop rate from the Fenglow Stingers seemed to be much higher than that from the Marshlight Bleeders.

Might have just been bad luck, but I did have a fair number of data points.
