1.5 minute cooldown. A pretty sweet evasive trinket for tanks. Probably a lot more useful for melee than the watch is for casters. At 60, unbuffed and on a druid, it almost doubles my dodge rate (27% to 43%).

This is pretty much a 16% dodge bonus for 10 seconds (12 rating = 1%) It'll last you about 4-5 incoming hits, so likely you'll take one less hit than usual.

The only thing that makes it viable is the 90 second cooldown

trinket effect does NOT stack with rogues evasion - both dispell each other.

I took this over the threat trinket, because I have feign death, but there are times when I wish I picked up the other one anyway. Oh well, maybe it will become useful in the arena, but I doubt it.

It's a nice trinket to have. As a sub-specced rogue, if I use it along with Evasion and Ghostly Strike, I end up with 105% dodge chance. :) Comes in handy! The other trinket isn't bad, but rogues have feint and vanish to get themselves out of "Oh, !@#$" situations anyways.

even though it only lasts 10 seconds .. for a rogue good to use with evasion to up your dodge rating .. only has a 2 minute cooldown between uses

This trinket does not share the cooldown with Moroes' Pocket Watch. Kind of wish I had gotten this one had I known about this before.

This will probably be fixed in the next patch or so.

I'm a lvl 60 rogue and this trinket works out to increase my dodge by 16%, bringing my dodge up to 41%. Considering it only has a 2 minute cooldown, this item is imba!

Warriors can use this with Recklessness to offset the increased damage taken.

Its a really nice trinket in pvp.
I have a lv 59 rogue and I am collecting all the best items I can get from the quests in outland, including this one. With this trinkit and evasion you own!

Which would be better for a hunter? This or the watch?

I like this better, but in future raids, would the watch be more beneficial? I figued it wouldn't really help too much because of Feign. That's why I'm leaning towards getting the charm

I tried using this trinket when fighting a boar to see what my dodge % would be after usage. Needless to say I got the text onscreen stating "you cannot use this while in combat" or whatnot. WTF? I think I was bugged or something because there'd be absolutely no use for it while nto being in combat. Idk ...

this is Evasion for druid-cat :)

I use it when attacking warrior for example:
Pounce, 5pts Rip, this trinket, another 5pts Rip...gg

In this case I use it with Alterac trinket.

Works nice for a survivalist hunter because deterrence does not set off global cooldown, so all of these go off simultaneously. Get a dodge percent over %50 and parry over %30 this way. I imagine a rogue could make a similar macro with evasion.

I have a 70 Rogue. You can use this and evasion at the same time for even more chances to dodge. (They stack). It is really nice. But actually I use The Charm of Alacrity first then evasion for a whooping 25 seconds of encreased evasion.

Charm of Alacrity 2 Min cool Down

If you only hit a rogue once or twice in 25 seconds you're most likely sulking as you run back to get your corpse ;)

Oh and add Cloak of Shadows for the spell resistance and kick a caster (forcing them to try to run or better yet malee you),and casters will lothe you with a passion.

Males us "paper tanks" a little more affective.

all hunters reading this, GET THIS TRINKET

the dodge at 70 for arenas is amazing, combined with deterrence it can make a powerful trinket, and i cannot stress how important dodge and parry are for hunters who want to pvp.

This item is amazing with priests as well, believe it not a Night Elf priest using this in conjunction with Elune's grace gives two chances of evading, 20% at least with the Charm and another 20% from the spell.
