Do these mobs Drop the quest item, or are they fished?

Seems to me they would be fished, but I havent caught one in over 2 hours of fishing.

While not as low a droprate as what is suggested, it is relatively low. I'd say somewhere around 20%, but that's just a rough estimate.

Rough area to quest in anyways. The lake is still often farmed for motes of water.

62 hunter, once i realized i had an underwater breathing potion, it was much easier . . they are mostly on the bottom and the lake is deep and they were evading sometimes when i was on land. The quest took me about 20 minutes to finish, max.

These mobs drop motes of water. Their low level makes them prime targets for Joe70 Mote-Farmer, so you may have to compete for kills.

Outside of Shattrath, there is a lake to the far northeast.

Seth wants you to collect Pristine Shimmerscale Eel. HOWEVER, it is not " Fishin' ".

You have to kill the eels in the lake and collect them.

These eels aren't electrical like the ones in Zangamarsh, so your okay.

good drop rate for you perhaps, i get 1 item per 10 kills. But yes they are easy to kill

Ive trained my fishing to 300 when I first visited this tread and noticed that they DROP it. the drop-rate is pretty high together with high mote of water drops :)

good thing that I do, these drop from the eels in the lake, not fishing. They drop pretty fast too.

Its a drop quest, not fishing. So just kill them! cords are 41,12

They are underwater. They are Beast, not fish. So take off your shirt and jump in the water.
