Good ring for a Paladin who wants to tank, that's about it.

Most suited for 5-mans due mana regen and lacking mitigation stats when compared to other level 70 tanking rings.

Although I looted this ring over a month ago, I have yet to find a practical use for it.

Here are two rings I prefer to use, which are also obtainable via quests:

The mp5 is not the greatest on this ring, but it has a fair bit of intellect. Many pally tanks get gear without int (because it's made for warriors), and this ring can help out with your mana pool, giving you ~300 mana.

This item is for a Protection spec. pally, Feral Druid, or a Elemental Shaman. Mainly for the Prot pally and the Shaman since while in Bear form, Druids do not have any mana.

Definetly should be prot pally tank priority. Although they're rare enough that others might get it.

Who tanks at level 70 and uses mana ? Prot pally. Druids have no mana in bear form and well i haven't seen a shaman tank a level 70 instance yet.

Of course, we're all ignoring the most obvious reason why this was probably made for a Paladin. "Silver Hand", anyone? The Order of the Silver Hand = Paladins

this could also be of great use to a pvp-spec druid, ie. 30/31 or feral/resto. the stamina and defense are great for melee and the int and mp5 are great for healing

...of Protection-Spec Paladin items out there. Rare enough to make it an annoyance to get, and the low stam is definitely a turn off compared to the Kara ring and various other tanking rings.

However, it suits the prot Pally well. That's good, as we need all the gear we can get.

i picked it up as a prot spec warrior.
boss dropped two pally items, no pallies in group, so i grabbed this ring, was an upgrade from the green i was wearing before.

Got this when trying to get my Righteous Armor set piece. It was a consolation prize as the set piece didn't drop.

This item just flat out sucks, even for paladin tanks. Intellect and Mp5 are totally crap for them. They get mana back for free from all the heals they SHOULD be getting as a tank. No need for Mp5 at all, and the size of any level 70's mana pool should be roughly 5k, which is more then enough to work with.

Crap ring. DE and move on.
