Easy soloable, it may look intimidating, an elite, but it's very easy. Could solo them as a level 66 arms warrior without using cooldowns, get full health though ;-)

i did one of the montain gronns as a lvl 64 holy paladin. he hits me for around 130-150 thats like a normal trash mob so dont be afraid to try solo them.

Soloed as a 67 shadow priest.... should have tried earlier... was easy :)

Like most people I picked up the quest, Vision of the Dead @ lvl 65. Hardest part, as well as the reason why it's a group quest, is this eyeball. The Mountain Gronn's are lvl 65-67 elites. Easy way to solo this when you first get it, is to go over to Warmaul Hill and wait for one of the Gronn to attack one of the Ogres. Jump in and pummel it, using the ogre as an aggro hold until it dies off or you kill the Gronn.
As a rogue I just stayed behind it and spammed Feint as needed. Dropped the Gronn before the Ogre died, finished off the Ogre in half a hit thanks to the beating the Gronn dished out on it.
As a warrior I just kept my DPS to a minimum until the Ogre dropped and then unloaded on the remainder of the Gronn's hp. All in all not bad. I've always gotten my eyeball off the first kill.
