I have no idea how this says 15%, it is one of the worst drop rates ever.

I would agree with above posted comment..I would rather grind Desolace for 3 days. It might prove to be more productive.

It dropped for me on my 11th kill.. That's 9% drop rate..

I too am having a bad drop rate. Killed Greater Windrocs for an hour two days now and nothing.

Even if you swear this item isn't dropping for you, keep at it. I spent almost 30 mins farming the Greater Windrocs when it finally dropped. Only to come back and do the quest on an alt to have it drop on the first kill.

Go figure.

the drop rate is significantly lower than what is listed. coords are 33, 24....there are 3 or four groups of 4 birds together...killing them is easy but drop rate is lower than 5%

just goes to show ya... its all random i dont care if it said 1% drop you can get it in one kill, anyway 4 kills in i got mine GL

Killed like 15 Rocs - I gave up .. then a few hours later a Roc crossed my road - killed it - dropped ;D

The drop rate on this beak is garbage, I've killed at least 25 of these things, and no beak yet...

EDIT: Low and behold, the next mob I kill after posting this drops the beak.

this is strange this post is magical, after i read Ithilwen's post it dropped but before reading it at least i slayed 20 of these no drop ... after reading post voila! in next kill... :D

Funny enough, I wondered why it doesn't drop, came back here to see about the drop rate and next mob I kill, it dropped. Indeed magical.

Same as nearly everyone else, no drops, wondered if I was at the right mob. Then I read this, fought one, knew I'd get it, and I did. First drop after reading.

Same as sleigher - killed for a while, then came here. Checked everything, got excited, and went back to killing - only the next one didn't drop it.

Disheartened, I ventured on - to have it drop the very next kill.

Unexpected line of posts, but very cool all the same.

I didn't get it for at least 30minutes, then I posted here, nothing, then I asked in general chat. "Someone wish me luck." Someone did and right as they did I got it!

um ok....

I killed 2 at 35,29, came here to make sure I was killing the right mob before running off and grinding for 3 hours, saw that everyone was getting it the next one after coming here, got all excited, killed the next one and...nothing.

But then I killed another one and there it was.

Freaky.

34, 30. And same as the others... I looked at the notes and it dropped. Dropped on my 2nd kill. First kill i didnt look. :P

Lol, it dropped on first kill, so did the Mountain Gronn Eyeball :D havent tried the Aged Clefthoof Blubber yet, so i hope it drops fast:)

But i got 45k xp and Brilliant Feathers for 5g :) that was the best with the whole qst
