Mine dropped on my 3rd kill.. Don't feel bad though, on my Draenei I had to spend ~ hr looking and killing them for this bloody thing to drop.

I got lucky and got this on my first kill. It's a terrible drop rate so don't count on getting this right away.

It seems the Aged Clefthoofs share spawn with the cyclones, so if you have trouble fining them kill some cyclones for a while and they should spawn.

I must have killed 50 of these guys before I got it to drop. I had a bunch of leather that I skinned when I was done. I got the other 2 items for this quest on the first kill and fifth.

Took me ~7 kills. Aged Clefthoof share a spawn with the Living Cyclones. When you can't find Aged Clefthoof, start killing the Living Cyclones, then you will see more Aged Clefthoof respawn.

after exactly 114 kills this crap droped X( piece of crap, such a wast of time, also killing many many many cyclones X(, spend 6 hours doing the stupid q, other items came on first kill

I have seriously killed droves of these things on my mage. Seemingly endless hordes of aged clefthoofs have fallen dead at my feet, never once have I seen that blubber.
Then I kill 3 of the things on my priest and it drops. Cosmic balance...

Just circle Oshu'gun, they're few and far between so good luck. Got mine on my fifth kill which, judging by other posts here, is pretty lucky.

If you are hunting these around Oshu'gun then be aware that the air elementals have the same spawn table so kill them as well to get more aged clefthoof to spawn.

Drop rate sucks really,
tried over 25 kills still no blubber and the respawn is
also wors. When the drop rate is low their should be more
mobs.

Greater Windrocs everywhere, I get the beak on the first kill.
Mountain Gronns everywhere, I get the eye on the first kill.

Aged Clefthoof are practically nowhere to be found and the respawn rate is terrible to boot. Roughly on my 20th kill and still no blubber.

Way to go Blizzard.

This quest is a Nightmare, you have to kill around 30 to get it, and sometimes it takes around 30 mins to find of those Aged Clefthoofs :// If you do quests for fun, trust me, this is not fun ://

I got this drop on the 2nd kill in oshu'gun but my questing partner has killed every aged clefthoof for the last hour or so and hasn't gotten it yet.

do you know this feeling when you're grinding on a quest like this one, that your brain seems to be pouring out of your ears... i tend to act crazy after a while...

this blubber crap is like aged gorilla sinew all over again except there are less mobs and the sinew eventually dropped... i feel like kicking the #$%^ out of some lvl 10 horde players right now...

There are about 3 spawns of these, 1 aged clefthoof each. The respawn rate is very low, ~10 mins. The drop rate is very low.

And my opinion of the intelligence of whoever wrote this quest is also... very low.

I dunno, I didn't really have too much of a problem getting the blubber or the beak. The Greater Windrocs like to eat the aged ones, so if you just kill them all and get em out of the way for the Aged Clefthooves to spawn and not die instantly, then you're good to go. I got the break when killing them to get to the Clefthooves, then got the blubber. Not too bad.

Mountain Gronn Eyeball 100% in the road for Warmaul Hill near Forge camp hate.

Flawless Greater Windroc Beak 50%(actually on the second kill)
near Sunspring Post.

Aged Clefthoof Blubber 5%(countless kills) U can find many around OSHU'GUN!

several Aged clefthoof at 30,70 SW of Oshu'gun. they're mostly lvl 66 but first lvl 67 was the one that dropped the blubber.
I don't know if this is random but I've noticed this kinda behaviour more often at seemingly random drops.

I got my blubber on the first try off of a lvl 67 maybe it was pure luck there seem to be a great deal of the aged clefthoof near the spirt feilds that was where i got mine and there seemed to be plenty around

They are roaming around the areas north of sunspring post where the greater windroc's circle the Aged Clefthoof's Carcases.

If you don't see any in this small area nearing these 2 coordinates, kill the living cyclones you see in the area ... they seem to share randomly the spawn points with the clefthoofs.

Ok i confirm the think about killing air elementals, around 35 33 i killed all air alementals ad in some time 2 aged cleft hoof spawned got the bladder from 1 of them. GL

I would definitely recommend the group to the SW of Oshu'Gun, I killed them all over for hours and got nothing, as soon as I went to the SW of Oshu'Gun, second drop.

Started at 40,82 and killed my way west, then north. Got in on 5th kill (around 31,71). Plenty of Aged Clefthoof

Now killed well over 30 and no drop. GG Blizz, GG. Tried both the spirit fields ones and the ones around the windrocs.

Completely random no matter what people seem to think.

Killed about 50 of these. Still no drop...

Going close to 2h's now. Really sick and boring.

You guys are gonna hate me then.....Killed the first Aged clefthoof on the NW side of Oshu'gun and got the blubber firt time. Woot! coord was 30.63

Hrmmm...got it on first kill. There are far more than just three, just run around the map where it shows where they're at.
Quest was relatively easy getting all drops on first kill.

What's up with all the corpses that show up in tracking and never de-spawn but are also not lootable or skinnable?
