I don't know about easily obtained... As a blacksmith you have to spend so much gold just to get to the level where you can make this. I think it's just fitting to be able to create something for yourself after the hard labor of getting to this postion. Sort of cool knowing you have a weapon that no one else except your fellow blacksmiths can get. I just wished it looked a bit better... It so small. Almost looks like a dagger. I would think it's attack speed should be faster for such a small weapon.

This recipe can be learned from the Weapon Smith in Ironforge for 90 silver once you reach Blacksmithing 260. I cried seeing that it was Bind on Pickup, here is a great tanking sword that us Blacksmiths could actually make money on! /cry! I was using Jang'thraze the Protector to tank with, but Light Earthforged Blade is a clear upgrade. You can farm the mats, or on Bronzebeard buy them for about 10 gold.

While this may be the best tanking sword for level, a warrior who can make this is much better off switching to Armorsmith to make Earthforged Leggings. Go check it out. It cost me 5 gold at level 48 to drop my Weaponsmith ability.

the earthforged leggings may be better at this lvl but if they are going wep smith noe chances are its for the end game eipc weapons
