Supplicants come in sets of two, and there is a roaming 70 elite to deal with in the supplicant packs.

As a feral druid, the easy way to solo these are to wait untill they are at about 60% (they fight each others to 50% then reset).

You pull using Cyclone, fast shift to cat form, get 2 mangles in and Rip, at this point the mob in cyclone comes towards you, and the mob you are fighting uses evasion (but the rip still ticks and kills it).

Now simply kill the one left. All in all you rarely loose more that 2K HP, on each pack.

As a 70 mage its pretty easy to solo, just time your fireball (you should be fire spec in Outlands :D) to their fighting and what i like to do is quickly switch targets to get some DPS down on both BEs before they even get to me, use a quick Fireblast and as they get into melee Dragon breath to stun them and follow up with a Blastwave and then Frost nova with one or two Arcane explosions and they are done for! Easysauce :D

The supplicants do indeed come in pairs of two; they're sparring with each other up on either side of the stairs at the top of the hill. There's a 71 elite, Netharel, that wonders among them, but he's easy enough to fight/stealth around.

The supplicants don't run (thank God), but they do Evasion, which is almost as annoying if you're melee. Be careful when you're pulling and try to only get two; they hit very fast and moderately hard.

I also did this as a Feral Druid, but didn't have any problem tanking two at a time in Cat Form. If you're up at the top of the stairs to the right and get in trouble, jump off the west wall and bandage while they path to you. I never got any adds this way, but that isn't to say that you won't.

Lastly, you can wait until they're at about 50% health and then attack them, but I found it easier to pull them at 100% health, that way I had 5 combo points by the time they used evasion and my Rip ticks were enough to kill them on their own. They also respawn in about 3 minutes. :)

All the demonhunter dual wield two very fast swords
which makes it funny for either druids and mages to have thorns, molten armor or ice armor on all the time

it cracks me up every time to see either impact or frostbite proc, depending on what armor i have up :)

there are mobs around that put on a debuff that reduces magic dmg done by 75%. it seems to be applied in melee range so... try to avoid that :p

Tankadin seems pretty effecient on farming those. I've seen a couple taking all the team at once and aoe them pretty fast(Retribution aura is really an asset against fast hitting target). So pally only need to survive

Easy solo for a hunter- just keep Netharel marked with a Hunter's mark and turn off track humanoids- the path between the stairs and that back corridor is easy to watch, so tracking the elite becomes very easy- just stay away from the dot, lol.

When they start dueling each other, they're a bit hard to grab aggro from since they're fighting each other. Lay down a freeze trap and ping them both with multishot, but watch out, because sometimes they will sprint/dash over, so you have to watch out for attacking the trapped one.

no ranged attacks out of these guys, they're in nice little pairs on the lower tier, only 6k health

sounds like AOE practice to me.

As a bonus, they fight each other, and hurt each other, get a tap on them while they're fighting, and they'll run at you with 1/2 health.

This quest is stupid easy just wait for them to hit half health and come in for the kill >< easy as pie....drop rate kinda does suck though

Drops are random but oddly very low drop rate. I had to kill around 8-10 elves to get one to drop, so prepare to be here a while.

Found a whole heap of them practicing duels at 68,51. They are around 70% health. Just drop a flamestike and finsh them both off.

Carefull:
Whole mess of them there, yes, but also Netharel, a 70 Elite who hits like a rogue. If he walks up on you, expect to be walking back from the graveyard.

68, 50 is a good spot to land, if you're melee, fight the initiates, take them down quick cause they have an immolate aura. They use spellbreaker.
If you're a caster, take the supplicants. Wait till they start fighting eachother and then blast them hard. They cast evasion around 20-25%.

I had a good drop rate with this, i killed maybe 16-17 and got the 8 that i needed, really easy quest if you have a flying mount, you just need to know where the lvl 70 elite is, and wait for the hunters to get down to the halfway mark when they are fighting each other

as a combat rogue our finish up pass thru their evasion so its pretty ez. I just walked all the way to the duelers killed about 6 initiate and 8 duelers for those saying theyre having drop problems try to not hit the duelers when theyre too low in life why? I saw that I most likely always get it when they are at full life, and never when theyre too badly enjured couldnt even loot some of thems , its like killing a mob with the help of the guards there wont be any drop.

I had a very bad drop rate...i would say most of the bodies i tried to loot (over 50%) didn't have anything. I tried killing the guys fighting each other at full life, half life, etc. I then started killing the initiates and had much more success.

Try killing the elves up the stairs and around the corner to the left, they seem to drop a lot more often, i got 8 glaives from 11 kills there. plus some sunfury signets or whatever the scryer things are.

Its not as easy as going after them when they are weak, yes the weak ones are fairly easy to take out, but about half the time when they are almost dead two more will spawn into the battle, these are anywhere from 50% life to full and they have no drops.

Im a 70 ice mage, I would pull groups of 6 initiates at a time, Ive killed probably 75 and havent gotten any drops AT ALL!

im a fire mage. i took the whole room of the mobs that is fighting each other, with 1 hp pot. and i got 8/8 Glaives.. Soo i would say for me " GOod Drop Rate " =) Good Luck

Easy quest for a combat rogue, had to eat once or twice while I did it. I had a bad drop rate, 10% I guess.

lol i killed bout 40 of em (70 hunter) just waited for them 2 get on lowerish life when dueling and it only took me bout 20 mins top 2 kill all 40 and get 8 glaives

Took me nine kills to get eight. Good group of them dueling on the hill.

There's a big group dueling at 58-63. The drop rate for me was around 40%. Not too bad

At first I killed at the spot where all the Sunfury Hunter Supplicants are training. I killed all of them (quite a lot) without one single drop. Then I started killing the Sunfury Hunter Initiates on the stairs. They dropped about 80%.

So: forget about the fighting mobs. Concentrate on the stairs.
