It's fixed. This item is a quest reward from a quest in Shadowmoon Valley, you have to kill a big green "Golemag". He is tough you so will need a full group.

By now everyone is probably aware of the Battle Mage's Baton (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=25760), which is better for PVP.

Well, you would think that you would have gotten the Battle Mage Baton like 5 levels earlier in Nagrand before doing this long chain in Shadow Moon.

I have both on me at all times...gotta love the spell crit and damage for both of them.

For a nice staff, complete this quest (which is slightly bugged).

I would have thought by now people would have been into Black Morass and picked up a Bloodfire Greatstaff. Less intellect and -4crit rating, but more +dmg and stamina.

Overall it's not a bad staff, kind of *easy* to get, but because i have a Bloodfire Greatstaff, i won't be using this when i complete the quest.

Anyone else feel like casters get the shaft on these rewards? There are a ton of 1h/offhand combos that are WAY better than this. Where as, just look at the axe reward from this quest chain, the thing not only hits like a truck but looks badass to boot.

Not a great staff, only +103 damage.

Eaziest (good) combo to get is Continuum Blade (Revered w/ COT) and the Saga of Terokk (Quest from Auch)

I finished it at 69, the last guy is rather tough. There were a handful of alliance there and they chipped in and helped out, was interesting.

Good staff...looks stupid, but great stats.

Because bringer of death drops a lot, and its fairly cheap to buy on my server (which is usually way overpriced) at 175g

Hmm... with 103dmg. WHO cares what it look like. It could be a turd on a stick and I would still want it!
