They should at least make it wearable with a unique graphic as sort of a "trophy" for completing the quest. Not that it's a huge accomplishment to finish this series, but still..

Yes... I hate that... unless the quest item does something cool... they should remove it from your inventory. Leaving it there is like someone handing you a flier you don't want.

Having done the whole Blade's Edge quite line, I still have this in my inventory.
Is it just something to work out, or does it open anything interesting?

I think this is supposed to be a semipermenent replacement for the hour duration mask the centuar guy gives you, however you cant equip it. i dont see any use for it.

I was greatly dissapointed when i found out it wasn't a permanent replacement for the super sweet looking gas mask. So i made a fire with some simple wood and burned the lousy thing. Darn tease. :(

This mask is used to charge the obelisks at the Forge Camp. When the quest is over, you can safely discard this mask with no regard, what so ever, of it being used again.

- Unless you wish to summon Doomcryer once more, ofcourse.
