drops quite often actually. while questing from 1-60, i found few lockboxes solo however this weekend while farming aldor rep, i found 9 of these. (all solo). 9 in a total of 10hours.

seems quite common. then i found 3 more while doing the netherwing daily quests.

is this the tougest lockbox out there? i hope not.. the drops inside are kinda sub-par for me makes it not even worth opening..

Well worth keeping, ask an enchanter to DE the stuff inside (if it isnt anything really useful or expensive) and get some nice enchantingmaterials or whatever, always look on the bright side :)

2.3 introduced new loot - Ive seen a nice purple item advertised in trade from a lockbox.

There IS more than just green (Uncommon) items in here.
My cousin was going to take an Essence of Fire from the guild vault until but I noticed there was one of these in it. I told him to take this instead but he wouldn't listen. I finaly got him to change his mind and when he got a rogue to open it he got Sash of Sealed Fate as well as some other green item which he sold for 10g and as for the sash, he sold it for 40g. So instead of 1g.... He got 50.

But anyways the point is that if this drops in a group for instance, dont think it has only green's because you could get alot more! ; )

I think it's 340. If I remember right I never could with 335. once i hit 69 and got my LP to 340 I tried and it was orange.

Yah it's definitly 330 LP I wasn't able to open at 65 once I hit 66 and went from 325-330 I could open them

So we've got votes for 325, 330, and 340. Guess I'll have to do my own research.

It was red to me at 320 and orange at 325 so somewhere around there. Probably turns orange at 325.

A level 64 with max lockpicking skill (320) and Dark Leather Gloves (+5) can open this.
