i have spent many a frustrating hours trying to get a gland - and its really up to the point where you have to consider that doing dailies like the ata'mal armanent Q is easier and more profitable

It might be a good idea to check if the Razorthorn ravager you are about to tame is evading. So you dont have to farm another gland.
Lotsa mobs are evading nowadays :/

I hate to say it, but don't bother with this daily. The droprate on the gland is unacceptable for the reward involved. Better served doing other dailies, or Hell, farming ore or something.

This has a shared cooldown with Drums of Battle for some reason. (And probably the other drums as well) I used the drums while I was killing the flayer, I got the gland and it was on a cooldown with the exact same time as my drums. This has happened 3 or 4 times so I know its not a fluke.

these ONLY drop from "Razorthorn Flayer"s not the ravagers. Once you get one u can use it on 1 of the ravagers to charm it. the charmed ravager can attack, taunt and do other stuff and its mainly used to dig up the roots for the quest "Discovering your roots"
